We were in the resort on a family vacation in September 2022. We were pleasantly surprised, the resort is clean, the staff is very kind to children, there were many attractions, we liked everything. The food there is excellent and we are already looking forward to it because we will come next year. The sea is beautiful, they take care of the entire area of the resort and the beaches are amazing, the bottom of the sea is sandy, suitable for children. We definitely recommend everyone to visit this place. We are already looking forward to our vacation in a year :-) And also a recommendation to book accommodation directly through their website, it's better than booking.com :-D
Good We came end of September. Last week of the resort being open. So it was quite. But imagine if you came in summer it would be kid central Loads for young children to do but not all open this time of year Great stretch of beach - sandy and pebble beach - water is lovely and warm Variety of swimming pools but no deep length swim pool. 1metre deep was the deepest Once arrived - you don’t really need to leave if you are happy just at the beach or pool. They have everything you need in resort - souvenir shops, market, bakery (AMAZING), water-sports and you can book excursions. Only if you are there at right time. Unfortunately they had stopped running mid September when we were there :( The apartment building was ok. Nothing special but had everything you need - kitchen, shower, table, big balcony, aircon All the staff we spoke to spoke English and most were chatty and polite. Close to airport - about 25 mins away And 20 min taxi trip into Zadar old town would recommend going. Lots of old buildings, shops, restaurants, huge harbour with massive boats Bad Be aware You do have to pay for everything which we weren’t expecting before arrival. Sun loungers (at pool! and beach) we had to pay every day Food not the best. Restaurant food all very cold and bland. There is a homemade pasta restaurant and thought it would be great but food was cold both times we went - even though we watched it being cooked 10 feet away from us Also not a huge choice of vegetarian food for me is always annoying. Only cold salad and chips which was overpriced Also most of the restaurants were Croatian dishes which obviously great if you want to sample local food. But if your a Brit like us - not much of an English selection Not all the shops and food places were open when we stayed (guessing because they were at the end of season) but made it hard to find anywhere to eat/have a drink in evening. Best place was the take out pizza but even that was incredibly slow/confusing to order from. Also the supermarket and shops stocked a lot less item. So only had limited drinks available on menu (NO cocktails - I mean what is a holiday without a cocktail!) Overall I would say this place is great if you have young kids to occupy whilst away. Not a huge amount of things for older kids and adults to do except the beach and pool. I imagine in busy summer season this place would be rammed with kids everywhere as it’s a lot of accommodation. So not somewhere to come if your looking for a quiet, relaxing time away We got the sense that all the staff were done for the year and just wanting to close everything early. Which I understand as it’s been a long summer for them but this kind of ruined some of our stay.…
We've spent 10 days towards the end of September in Zaton. The apartment we stayed in was for 6 people and it was spacious ,clean fitted with everything we needed ,close proximity to the beach and restaurants etc. We all found the beds a bit uncomfortable or rather the pillows were too rigid ? the fold out bed received the most complaint from my brother. The resort have everything you can wish for ,plenty of pools reasonable beach (it's more rocky than sand) restaurant, mini golf , disco , shops, supermarket, bike hire plenty of play areas for kids, horse riding, money exchange. The things that let it down for us a bit, the pools were too cold , it's probably welcome when the heat is 30+ but not in September. The meals included in the family special deal were manic everyone trying to get to the food at once and yet the food was hardly worth it to be honest. Breakfast was good but dinner left us feeling underwhelmed 😕 The second part of the week the resort started to empty and a lot of the other restaurants and some of the shops closed the supermarket was practically empty. The towels supposed to be changed 3 to 4 days the bedding weekly. Yet I had to ask for fresh towels after 6 days then we had new towels every day after? No bedding was changed during our stay. The people on reception were nice and friendly but staff elsewhere came across really unfriendly and some even rude. Given the whole area relies on tourism we found this quite disappointing. This was a general feel wherever we visited and spoilt our holiday somewhat tbh. On a side note do not hire car with Avis , what a sham and left us paying double to what we expected. Overall it was an OK holiday in a beautiful but unfriendly country ,it could have been great if the above points were slightly better.…
Nice and peaceful location, huge resort with plenty of views! If you want really relaxing holiday - just go for it! We lived in a 3* apartment with a sea view!!! Pool area is amazing, it has everything for every age! Definitely would come back again!
We stayed 7 night in a mobil home. They were clean and had all stuff you need in it. But the room smelled like a perfumery. Don't know what they use. Got a headache the first night. The whole resort is very clean and there is a lot of stuff to do. The gocery store is way too expensive! We had a nice stay with good food and friendly employees. We would come again.
-There was little to do for the parents except go to the pool/beach to be with kids but there were no sunbeds/ umbrellas for the scorching heat ( you have to pay for them if you find them! This has to be the lowest rating contributor considering how hot it is and it’s all about beach/ pools). -Our little kids (6) HAD plenty of fun in the kids club and pools and shows. -The place is insanely expensive ! but the charm of blue skies , clear waters makes you forget it all. The staff is very friendly ! -The aircon works, internet is POOR and our apartment was actually great in terms of furnishing and setting. So all in all it was an OK vacation
Positives - It's a beach front resort so if you're a fan of the beach it's right there in front of you. It's not too far from a small town called Nin although it's not walking distance but a short car ride away. There's plenty to do for kids so if you're traveling with kids they'll be spoilt for choice but lack of adult activities or amenities. Negatives - Where do I begin! I travel a lot and have been all over the world staying in various * rated accommodation including 3* star resorts so I'm very aware of what's worthy of 3 stars. Originally I wanted to book the 4* 2 bed apartment but they had no availability but had I known how bad the 3* accommodation would be I would have booked elsewhere. The 3* studio I stayed in doesn't even deserve one star especially for the price they charged! This place looked like something that had been built in 1960 and never touched. If you're going to charge the rate you're charging for this accommodation it at least needs to reflect the price! Exposed gas pipes, damp in corners of walls, holes in the entrance door which eventually led to rainfall seeping through into the accommodation. I complained about the door also not locking properly and that this was a safety concern. My complaint went unheard! They didn't even bother to send maintenance to investigate and attempt to rectify. Extremely high uncomfortable pillows with no choice of lower pillows for people who suffer with back problems. Old furniture. Zero sound insulation. I could basically hear the people above me and next to me breathing. My parents' studio smelt of cigarette smoke on arrival. It's beyond me how they could even allow this room to be occupied before airing the smell of smoke out. The food was ok but definitely lacked variety especially at breakfast. The food hall looks like a children's school cafeteria and also needs serious modernisation. To make it worse there is no system in place. We were told that there was around 5000 people at the resort when we stayed (10-16 Sep 2022) but this place could just about fit a few hundred people in at one time. We had to wait and queue up for breakfast and dinner just to get into the dining area and then spend an extra 20 minutes to look for a table and we were only three people. They charge for sun-beds which I've never come across in my life at a resort and I would definitely expect them to, which they didn't, have pool or beach towels available seeing as the resort is pool heavy and on the beach! CHARGE WAY LESS OR KNOCK DOWN AND REBUILD!!!…
Everything was great. Mobile home was clean and nice, next to mobile home was parking place. Beach is sandy and top for the childrens. My son was delighted with the playgrounds and pools. We will definitely visit this resort again.
Everything was perfect! Very nice stuff, delicious various food. The accomodation was clean and well-equipped. A really good choice for everyone. We will visit the resort for sure in the future again.
The rooms are excellent. The kitchen equipment is rich, very good. The entire apartment and its surroundings are very clean. The food in the restaurant is excellent, there is a great selection. The beach is clean. We are happy to recommend it to our friends and acquaintances!
