Everything about this hotel showed attention to detail. It was spotlessly clean and the buffet breakfast was very good. Our room had a fantastic view of the sea and was spacious and comfortable with a good balcony which included shade. The pool area was always quite busy but we had no difficulty getting sun loungers. The best thing about it was that it provided direct access to the promenade and the beach so in a few steps you could be swimming in the clear water of the Adriatic. We didn't actually eat in the hotel restaurant because the promenade provided a huge choice of alternatives. Highly recommended hotel.

Nothing to fault about this hotel apart from the usual people who stand around in the morning to grab their sun beds. The pool area is not that big and although the sun beds aren’t unlocked until 8am the regulars are there to grab their space, the problem with this is that although there are always plenty of spare sun beds there are definitely not enough umbrellas and no shade to be found so I think the hotel need to invest in more umbrellas. The food was lovely and all the staff go out of their way to help apart from one man on reception who never seemed very interested in what he was doing and gave us the wrong information about the bus service meaning that we missed the bus and couldn’t go out that day and had to re-arrange our plans Overall a very clean and well run hotel and hopefully we will return one day ..…

This hotel is one of nicest hotel I have stayed..it was clean..the food was really good.. the rooms were quite spacious.(my room was looking out to the sea)and had everything you needed..and I also liked that everywhere was carpeted, so you didn't hear stilettos prancing around in the middle of the night..The staff are really nice and helpful..except one young lady who was extremely rude and so unhelpful..(she worked in the restaurant). The hotel is situated in a good location..not far from all the lovely restaurants on the sea front.. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Just returned from a week in September at this hotel, really enjoyed it .Fantastic views from hotel if in higher floors . The breakfast was very good with loads to choose from can get busy around nine am. The hotel is right on sea front so step out right on to a enjoyable walk plenty of places to eat near by if you dont want to walk far. You do get the selfish idiots out on the dot 8am to grab beds in best places, and could probably do with investing in a few more umbrellas around pool area. Staff are very good and always helpful if needed, all in all a great place and country to visit.

This is a very good hotel situated right on the beach promenade. We had a side room with views of the mountains and another hotel. The room was spacious with a sofa and 2 armchairs and a fridge. The bathroom was large with an over bath shower which worked fine although wasn't the most modern rainfall type. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast had plenty of choice with hot and cold options, plenty of fruit and coffee etc. The pool was big enough to cool down in ,it was 36 degrees when we visited. The universal problem of sunbed hogging was rife where people put towels on beds before disappearing for most of the day VERY ANNOYING, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. Overall though I would recommend this well run hotel. Well done to all the staff.

We keep coming back to Makarska, to Park Hotel. That means it worth it. We love Croatia, and coming back in Makarska for 5th time, Park Hotel was our choice, as usual. Hotel is one of the best: Nice and spacious rooms (we had sea view and twin beds). Good air conditioner system…perfect. Cleanness very good. Friendly staff (reception, restaurants, bars..) always happy to help you. Good breakfast menu. As a plus: hotel is near the beach, 5 min walk to Makarska old town/Harbor, plenty of good restaurants and bars just exit the hotel PS: Just be prepared for a very crowded destination in peak season (Makarska).

Nice location next to the sea and the walking promenade. Rooms are big with good air conditioning. Daily: towel change, light cleaning and empty trash. Swimming pool too little and crowded, suitable more for children. Breakfast was ok, though very similar every morning. We also had dinner included, but I would not choose that option anymore as it was not so tasteful every time. Beware, you do not get any kind of drinks, not even water, with your dinner. You have to pay for a glass of water. Hotel staff was almost all ok and helpful, not all of them know how to make a customer feel welcomed. Hotel has a parking that must be payed per day. If there are not enough parking spaces, you will have to park your car in an external parking lot.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely, bright and modern public areas. Our room was large with a comfortable seating area. Outside, good-sized, private balcony with sea view (Room 103). Breakfast was buffet style which is never the best but plenty of choice and particularly enjoyed the fresh pancakes. Parking available for a small charge. Pleasant 10-15 minutes walk along the promenade takes you in to the harbour area if Makarska where there are numerous places to eat/drink. For excellent, authentic pizza would recommend Basta.

We have just returned from a fabulous week in Makarska, we stayed at the Hotel Park chosen for its perfect location. The room was lovely with a nice sea view, we had daily breakfast that was brilliant with such a variety. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, drinks were well priced for a hotel. The pool area is small but during the day most people all seem to go exploring so wasn’t an issue to us.

This hotel is perfect! The views are stunning so book a sea view room which are very spacious with a sofa and chair to relax on. The bathroom is also large with a decent shower over the bath. No need to bring toiletries as they provide rituals products. Pool towels can be got from reception for 100hrk deposit and you can replace for a clean one every day. Breakfast was served from 7-10 and had everything that you could want. The staff are all incredible and super friendly and they work so hard. There are plenty of restaurants just outside the hotel and town is a 10 minute stroll into town! Book this hotel…. It’s fabulous and we will return!
