Friendly and welcoming staff. Hotel was spotlessly clean with spacious well equipped rooms. Good location only 3 mins walk from beaches and 15 mins walk from centre of town. Fantastic back drop of the mountains too. Excellent breakfast with lots of options.
Good hotel but not worth of 4 stars. I have never seen such a small variates of cooked dishes on breakfast. We stayed for 5 nights and all the time just scrambled eggs and bacon. Very small effort to make visitors happy. Just to add fryed egg or baked beans, pancakes cost few cents but people would be much more satisfied. Dinners were ok Perfect service main dishes very good but instant soups felt like a joke for 4 star hotel.
Everything about this hotel is perfect. This is a small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff who have the knowledge and contacts you do not normally experience in hotels. In addition to this, the hotel is located outside the hectic part of the town — 5-to-6 minutes distance form the beach —, and is perfectly located if you are traveling by car, because you can easily get out of the town — towards Split or Dubrovnik — and avoid standing in long queues through towns one-way streets. They offer car park completely free of charge, which is a rarity in the world of hotels, and that's a big advantage. We also saw options for electrical cars! An exceptionally good selection for breakfast. We opted out of the dinner scheme because we prefer to dine out and the staff were very helpful in giving tips where we could enjoy good local food - but we saw many of the hotel guests stay for dinner so we assume their food is delicious too. We stayed in one of the central room on the first floor with superb view of the sea and in the horizon the island of Hvar. The room was comfortable and very clean, and so was the balcony. The mini fridge was extraordinarily filled with treats like chocolate, alcohol, pop and snack.…
Super nice, helpful and friendly staff. We were impressed with the friendliness of all the staff membership.I have stayed at countless hotels and the more time I spend traveling, the pickier I get about the hotel I choose to book. Therefore,I was happy when I found here gorgeous, clean and well maintained hotel room with such a comfortable bed.I highly recommend this place!
Everything about this hotel was perfect except the walk up hill back from the beach at the end of the day! lol. But Seriously, If you are on a budget, this is a great option and the walk isn't THAT bad.
Hotel situated on the main road so easy to find. Ample parking with an underground facility. The rooms were well appointed, however there was no facility for making your own Tea or Coffee in the rooms. The restaurant was excellent and the service was superb. The hotel is quite a long way from the beach which is a disadvantage, but there are many excellent beaches in the area where parking is available within a couple of minutes walk. The area is very scenic and I would suggest that one needs your own transport to get the most out of visiting this area.
Just had a beautiful stay for a week. The hotel is immaculate with lovely helpful and courteous staff. The breakfast was delicious with fresh food served daily and well presented. The beach is about a 5 minute walk down hill and the town about a 25 minute walk. We had a junior suite with sea view which was an excellent size and very clean. We were able to extend for a late checkout with no problem.Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
When you think of most popular beach holiday destinations there are usually many attractive hotels close to the beach, bars & restaurants etc. They usually have a swimming pool, very large restaurant, shops and fitness centres. On the other hand you might like a small, friendly family run hotel with more personal levels of service. If so then the Hotel Rosina is the perfect choice. It is immaculate, the staff are very friendly and helpful, it has inside and outside dining areas, the majority of rooms are much larger than average and the seafront is less than ten minutes walk away. There is an excellent choice at breakfast to satisfy all tastes and if you are on half-board as we were, you pre-order your choice of three courses from a menu given to you at evening meal the night before. There was a choice of four items from each of the three courses. If you want even more choice book in as B&B then you can still dine in the restaurant and choose from a larger menu. One noteworthy item to mention is room service. This is so efficient that when you return to your room after having had breakfast your room is done ! If you want to stay more than a few days then a sea view room is strongly recommended. The hotel is not really suited to people with restricted mobility as there are some steps but it is a good base if you like walking. We will definitely stay here again on future holidays to Makarska…
We were two couples staying for a week on half board from 23/5/2018. Hotel is very clean, staff very helpful and breakfast has excellent range of choices. However, evening meals were a major letdown. We were given a short menu sheet to choose the next days meal from, mostly the same four dishes, soup, and dessert (no choice, and no wonder, when they came!). The food was really poor, hardly any veg or sauces, and to say the least, bland. We seemed to be the only people on half board so there was no one to at least compare with.
The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the beach and maybe 15-20 from the town so in a pretty good location. We had rooms with a sea view so they front on to the main road however traffic noise was minimal. The rooms are huge, more like a suite, and spotless. A slight criticism would be the relatively small bathroom considering the size of the room but it too was spotless. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but there was plenty of choice from the usual continental to scambled or boiled eggs with bacon - very good quality. All of the staff were particularly helpful and friendly. I would definitely return - thank you.
