This is a fantastic apartment with very nice owners! The room was nice and clean with comfy beds and the kitchen was so nice since it was outside on the balcony! The apartment is located close to a supermarket. Unfortunately the street to the beach/town is a bit steep so the way back home is hot. But luckily it's a short distance. The only thing about the room that wasn't perfect was the non-sound-proof walls/doors but it was just a minor issue. Me and my friend loved our stay here!

Everything was perfect, the room was just lovely, clean and perfectly designed with a single detail. The bathroom was big, spotless and well equipped with anything you need. The balcony with external kitchen was super romantic and we loved to have breakfasts and dinners there with the view of the sea. When we arrived we were served a welcome lemonade which is a small thing, but created a very nice atmosphere from the beginning of our stay. We were hosted almost as a family by a very friendly people, and we felt as a special guests as well :) The only bad thing could be location - it's the Center of town, but you have to climb there a bit as the street is quite steep, but it was not a problem for us :)

We had a lovely stay at the large ground apartment. It was spacious, clean and well equipped and above all reasonably priced. The owner (Palmina) was very friendly and helpful to us. Our daughter-in-law celebrated her birthday at the apartment and Palmina made some delicious tiramisu dessert for the celebration. So kind and thoughtful of her! We asked her for the recipe which she gave us on our departure. The apartment is about 10 to 15 minutes walk uphill from the centre of Makarska which is a lovely resort. A nice promenade along the waterfront with lots of restaurants and shops. The beaches are long and curved and the sea water cristal clear! There is a small supermarket close by the apartment and larger ones along the by-pass which is easy to access by car.

We had two apartments one for myself and my husband and one for my other halfs family. We stayed in apartment 3 the green apartment with the lovely balcony. The family who run the apartments think of everything you may require. They even provided massive beach towels for us to use at the beach. The bathroom looks brand new with an amazing shower. We had a kitchen on the balcony which was great as it had windows in case there were any high winds. There was a dining table outside for Alfresco dining and also inside. There was a cable box to watch TV (not that you would want to as there is so much too see and do). Upon arrival the rest of our family had already arrived on a earlier plan and provided us with a key to the apartment. We paid cash the next day and provided our passports for a copy to the apartment owners. From my documents they realised it was my birthday on the Saturday. I woke up to the owner having made me a delicious dessert for my birthday followed by a card and some sweets. you can't ask for anything better than that. I would definitely go back, start saving up!
