Enjoyed our stay here . The hotel was very clean and the staff were very welcoming. Our room had a lovely view out to sea. our room was on two levels with a sitting area and toilet downstairs and a bedroom and shower room upstairs. It was spotless and quiet. There was a fridge, safe, tea/coffee making facilities and free wifi. We had half board which was very reasonably priced. Breakfast had good choices of hot and cold food. Dinner in the evening catered for all tastes with plenty of fish, meat and veggie dishes to suit everyone. The desserts were lovely. The chefs kept the buffet well stocked. The hotel was 10 minute from the centre of town where there was everything you needed!

This was a very poor experience overall. Room and view are only plus points. Wellness centre wasn’t open and we were told that they just didn’t have the staff for it, sun beds so uncomfortable and food is appalling (except for breakfast which is 5/10). Staff are friendly but not enough of them as we went in the off season. Even the pool bar wasn’t open and the ice cream fridge empty - despite it still being 25 degrees every day. This isn’t a negative but something to flag up - this is mainly people in the 60+ age category so if you want something more lively this is worth knowing. I would say the hotel is very fortunate to have a 4 star rating. It’s a poor 3 star at best.

This place is definitely below standards. My girlfriend accidentally booked the room online for 1 person instead of two. Ok, well… our bad but they made it seem like it was a federal crime… I mean why does it matter…? For the breakfast…? (more to come on that)… But beyond that, we were given the worst room. It was two single beds side by side… set up for two people… instead of having the topper so we could both sleep together, it was set for two separate sleepers… so confusing. Makes no sense. If you were expecting one person, even one single person would rather have the bed set up for larger bed. And when they “fixed” it… it was still wrong. It’s like they don’t understand that we are a couple and want to sleep together… lol Anyway, we then asked to be put in another room and they denied. The shower is also terrible… I promise you, you’ll hate it also. Let’s talk about the free breakfast… it was terrible. Awful and I’ll leave it at that, because it’s “free” doesn’t mean it should be so bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. Also, it seems they cater to an older crowd which is of course fine, I just wish I had known prior to booking. I will not recommend or stay here again. But hey, if uncomfortable beds, terrible showers and pathetic service is your thing… go for it!

We stayed at this hotel for a week and really appreciated its position, just a few minutes’ walk from the beautiful old town, and lovely views across the bay to the mountains on the peninsula. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant. There is direct access to the lovely clear sea from the Rocky area below the hotel, and also a pleasant pool area. The buffet food was good, if a bit cool at times. Our room was very clean and we had a lovely view.

This was a solid hotel. Great views, the grounds were well kept and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel has a nice beach area and is a short walk to the city. If you are having a boat transfer or boat taxi, you can be picked up super close to hotel. We loved the view from our room. Our room was spacious. It was a bit dated and light on amenities but overall good for the price.
