Apart from Villa Nora being extremely comfortable accommodation in a beautiful old palace just a couple of minutes walk from the main square what made it for us was the owner Natalija’s fantastic customer service. We were treated like VIPs from the offset. Not only did she adapt breakfast to our very early departure and come early to work to help us with our luggage down to the catamaran port but unprompted she also warned us of possible cancellations to our travel plans before arriving in Hvar due to bad weather and arranged for an alternative way for us to get to the island saving us untold uncertainty and stress. The stormy weather conditions continued during our stay and she was in constant contact with the appropriate authorities to get updates for us with re whether we would be able to get back to Split. On getting back to the mainland, my mother realised that she had left her purse in the safe at Villa Nora and once again it was Natalija to the rescue as she arranged to post it back to the UK. As well as the delicious breakfasts, amazing rooms (suites would be a better term to use) enviable location, and attention to detail, what we will really take away from our time at Villa Nora is service the like of which I have never experienced elsewhere on my travels. Bravo Natalija!…
Very friendly and helpful staff, who came to pick us up from the ferry and were very kind to provide us with all the information we needed. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, with organice produce from their own farm. Villa Nora has spacious rooms and is located in the heart of town. All in all, an excellent place to stay in Hvar (and do visit Mlini Beach!). 🙌
It’s always the people that make a stay special, and Natalija and all the staff were amazing (down-to-earth and friendly). The room was big and spacious, the balcony was lovely - she said we were upgraded to have a balcony - the breakfast was really nice in a courtyard setting, and was a good selection of nicely tasting food (they make their own jams)! We only stayed 2 nights but I would have loved to stay longer. The location couldn’t be better, and Natalija met us at the harbour from our ferry and walked us to the hotel. She gave some great advice on what to do and see. I would recommend Villa Nora in a heartbeat.
This charming villa is centrally located in Hvar, just steps from the main square. It’s conveniently located near main tourist attractions to explore the city, plenty of dining options, and walking distance to the harbor and several places for renting chairs to soak up the sun. A friend who had been coming to Hvar for 20+ years recommended Villa Nora and we were so glad he did. The super kind and hospitable staff, delicious breakfasts, and comfy beds made for a wonderful stay. There’s an in room fridge, digital safe, and they provide beach towels. I will definitely be staying here again.
We spent an unforgettable 10 days in this old stone villa-hotel, and on the other hand completely modern in every way. The rooms with bathroom are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are beautifully designed. The staff is cordial, hospitable. The food in the hotel restaurant is extremely tasty and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. We were here for the first time this summer, but we will always be back. All praise!
