Hotel has transfer service from ferry, just a short walk but nice not to lug the luggage! Glass of champagne on arrival at check in! Wonderful staff!! Helpful, knowledgeable, seem to enjoy their jobs! Booked cheaper room, and was spacious, clean, comfortable! Didn’t use spa but did use top deck for relaxing and viewing the town at sunset, used pool which was cool and lovely, used workout room that was clean and adequately stocked for a simple workout, breakfast was delicious and had a plethora of choices as well as a menu of extras (mostly egg dishes). Location was great for access to everything from activities to dining. Port, Gelato, pharmacy, ATMs, grocery were all very close. Concierge was helpful, too. A walk to the right from the hotel puts you steps away from beaches and nightlife.…
The Adriana’s harborfront location and pleasant, professional staff make it our choice every year. MARIA, TOMISLAV, PETAR, and others are what make the Adriana a four star hotel. The best rooms are the relatively new suites on the top (4th) floor; 404 is the best with the most space, as a corner, and the best use of space with the room configuration. These are the only rooms with good bathroom configuration, such as walk in showers from which the water does not spill all over the floor, decent counter space, and electrical outlets. The hotels’ buffet breakfast has declined in quality and scope in recent years, however, with a much more narrow scope of options (no hard boiled eggs, very few low calorie protein options, and very miniscule fruit choices) and a tendency not to replenish after 9 am. I wish that they would install electrical outlets in all the room bathrooms with installed hair dryers as well, instead of having the hair dryer in the living room drawer.…
We recently stayed three nights at this hotel with our family, booking two deluxe sea view rooms (we stayed in one, two grandchildren in the other) and a deluxe spa room with sea view (for our son, his wife and young son). We were met off the ferry by a very friendly and helpful member of staff who took all our luggage to the hotel, an easy five minute walk away. The views from all three rooms that we booked and from the hotel generally are just spectacular - over the harbour to the beautiful old town. It is an easy walk to lots of other excellent restaurants and to all the main sights in Hvar Town - the position could not be better. Everywhere in the hotel is immaculate and very stylish and the service from everyone (apart from a rather grumpy older man who "greeted" us in the Val Marina restaurant one night) was exemplary. Front desk were always particularly friendly and helpful. The Top Bar (on the fourth floor overlooking the harbour) serves excellent food and drinks, as does the Val Marina restaurant on the ground floor - we very much enjoyed breakfast on its terrace each day and dinner there one evening. The concierge made excellent restaurant recommendations and bookings for dinner for the other two nights. He also recommended and booked a first class private speedboat "mini-cruise" which everyone agreed was the highlight of our holiday in Croatia. The hotel has an excellent indoor swimming pool on the top floor, next to the Top Bar, with lots of sunbeds inside and on the terrace outside. There were always plenty free. On checkout, the hotel took all our luggage to the ferry in time to get us first position in the queue for boarding. If you are staying in Hvar, we can't recommend this hotel highly enough.…
We saw the Adriana Spar Hotel as our ferry was docking and the location can't be beat. The staff met us at the ferry and took our luggage to our room. The view from our room and also from the restaurant and roof bar of the harbour was so engaging! We loved watching all of the action, the lovely colors of the sky that came with each sunrise and sunset. The bed and pillows were really comfy and the room had all the expected amenities. The staff gave us great recommendations for restaurants and we enjoyed every minute of our visit to Hvar, thanks in no small measure to this hotel. The breakfast buffet was ample and varied with daily fresh smoothies, and customized breakfast items and hot beverages. We can't say enough about the location which was just perfect for walking around Hvar and visiting the nearby beaches. We were there through the weekend and although there was a large influx of people eager to party, our room was quiet and pleasant.…
The location is stunning, service exceptional and the food perfectly delivered and presented. We are here for 10 days and can’t believe how lucky we are to have chosen this hotel. It pays to check the reviews some on this hotel don’t do it justice. Our room is quiet, a good size and very clean. We have had fantastic service from the staff here who have booked days out for us and catered for our every need. In particular Zoran and Marco went above and beyond to make our holiday very special. We have had the best time here at the Adriana Hotel in Hvar town.
The view is spectacular. It is so entertaining to watch the boats and mega yachts come in and out of the harbor. We spent a lot of time doing that from our room and from the hotel bar with a bottle of wine. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location is great - right in the middle of the action. We enjoyed listening to the people walking around late night but that might not be for everyone. The included breakfast is ample and delicious. The pool is fun and there is plenty of room to hang in lounge chairs and the hammocks outside. If you want to eat in the restaurant make sure to book ahead of time. We didn't get in but were able to order food from the bar and were quite happy with it. Overall a great experience.
Vrhunska usluga i kvaliteta namirnica. Konobar Vlade i ostali kolege su nam priuštili predivno iskustvo. Spiza odličana vrhunska vina po pristupačnim cijenama. Sve pohvale Vladi i cijelom osoblju. Do nekog sljedećeg puta. Hvala
My partner and I had a fantastic meal here the other night, Zoran was our waiter and he made sure we wanted for nothing the entire evening. He was very friendly, attentive and willing to help with any questions we had about the local area. I can recommend the beef carpaccio, carbonara and risotto. They were all delicious. We would definitely come back here for another meal in the future.
The hotel was located right in the main strip of Hvar perfect for leaving your hotel and being in the center of all the action. We stayed in a suite which was HUGE and had an amazing bathtub and large terrace with a view. The breakfast buffet was available and was 4 out of 5 as was the service from the staff. They missed housekeeping one day which was a bummer but offered some additional towels in the meantime. Overall it was a great location if you want to be in the action and the style and service is 4 star quality.
The service was fantastic- waiter Nera were very friendly and attentive. She is very kind. I enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea. The terrace does not have too many guests and it is in the center of the city. Coffee and breakfast are great. Thank you Nera
