Loved staying at this hotel, really well kept with a great pool and tasty breakfast. We had a really pleasant stay and the walk in to the town is less than 10 minutes. Location is a top of a hill so a little tricky to carry bags but worth it when at the top (taxis can get there too).

Got room upgraded when we got there, lovely pool area with reasonably prices cocktails. Kid friendly but also great for adults. Short walk to beach and central Hvar but LOTS of steps up to the hotel so be aware if your'e going to try and drag a massive bag up them in the heat !!

Great hotel, just an 8 minute walk from the buzzy port. Cocktails and food around the pool were fantastic and not expensive. This hotel is suited for couples, groups and families. Hotel is very clean, rooms very comfortable. I will most definitely stay here again. Hvar is just simply stunning. Andela the Manager was very friendly and helpful. Fantastic find and great value. I can’t wait to come back!

The whole ambience of this hotel is very much geared towards younger visitors or those with families. The decor in the rooms is very modern but all perfectly clean and functional. Location is very uphill from the waterfront, so not for the feint-hearted. Breakfast buffet was very good - loose leaf tea was a bonus considering the machine coffee was rank. Pool was very busy with families playing and poseurs on their loungers. Fine if that is your thing.

Location is up hill from the port- we walked with roller bags- circle port and up the hill through the park- worked up a sweat, but doable- may want to schedule a ride if you’re not up for the effort. Easy, close walk to town with no luggage- and you’re halfway up hill to the fort as a bonus, lol. Hotel staff very nice and welcoming. Room was fun, youthful- tight but clean and comfortable. Sea view was nice- balcony overlooked pool but was never loud. Breakfast was great- self serve coffee- lots of food options- nice terrace to eat, drink.

The Pharos is set in a beautiful location amongst pines and olive trees with stunning views over the ocean and Paklinski Islands. The hotel has a great pool area with pool bar and plenty of loungers, beds and umbrellas. Set in a lush surrounding with olive trees and rosemary bushes. A short walk to the ocean and variety of beach bars and stunning swimming spots. Hvar Town 10-15 min walk also. Great buffet breakfast in a relaxed environment, lots of choice of hot and cold food. Staff were amazing and delivered a truly exceptional customer experience for all my family, nothing was too much trouble - huge thank you to Kocha, Andrea, Tea & Kristina and all the staff. Great car hire "Real Hvar' on site couldn't be more helpful with car and boat rental - highly recommended, thank you!! A truly wonderful stay!

Myself and my daughter were attending a wedding in the Amfora Hotel which is literally 3 mins walk away and were so impressed with this hotel. All the staff are lovely and friendly. Our room was perfect, cleaned every day and modern - both myself and my daughter commented that the beds were the most comfortable "hotel" beds we'd ever slept on. The aircon was perfect and never had any issues. I don't normally do reviews - but this hotel deserves one. We had such a lovely stay here and would definitely recommend.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. After waiting till 3 for our room to be cleaned (which is not an issue) and then in line for some time to be checked in we made our way to our room upon entering the room was visibly dirty floors were filthy with bits of rubbish and hair left everywhere all the mirrors and glass were dirty and had finger marks all over them. Went to the pool area which was busy but nice, the bathroom here was again filthy and never had toilet paper. The breakfast was quiet nice but again the area wasn not clean. Flys on the food. Limited table seating - we waited for someone to leave before sitting at a dirty one. The rooms are quiet small and lack any sound proofing. On the day we checked out power went out at 6 am and never came back on meaning no a/c when we told staff about this they made no attempt to apologise and brushed it off
