Nicest hotel we have enjoyed in Croatia. Very comfortable, excellent staff and location. We loved it!! Dinner and breakfast also wonderful. Worth the splurge!!!! Most comfortable bed on vacation. Wish we had been able to stay longer.
E stayed two nights in Hvar at the palace, in an ocean view room with a small balcony. Opened just a few years ago, this luxury boutique hotel is located just steps from the water, ferry spot and main square. Pros: -new hotel (since 2019) so great facilities with spacious modern bathrooms -fantastic on-site restaurant and wonderful made to order breakfast that was included in our room rate -picturesque pool (“heated”) with lounge chairs and full spa -elegant decor plus soundproof windows -staff met our ferry from Split and handled the luggage even though it wa just a 3 min or less walk to the hotel Con: -for a property in this price range, was surprised by the lower end toiletries in the bathroom Bottom line: a lovely and elegant spot for your stay. Definitely recommended…
Stayed here two nights in a suite. Hard to beat this place in Hvar, likely the best on the island. - location is a 10/10 - Internet 10 - breakfast - was very good - lobby - excellent - service - excellent The suite was spacious and faced the water -- incredible view.....lovely balcony.
Really great hotel! Friendly staff, excellent rooms, superb breakfast! Spa and indoor swimming pool with a view! Nearest local beach on Štalište Tonija Petrića is just 4 minutes walk and this was my daily routine after breakfast and before dinner. The hotel was built in place of the residential complex of the Duke's Palace on the main town square, which is also the largest square in Dalmatia. Its greatest importance was in the period of Venetian rule (there are still Lions of Saint Mark on the main entrance), when different dukes alternated in the area, with each of them leaving their mark in the history of this place. After the fall of Venice, the palace lost its spark, became neglected and was eventually demolished at the turn of the 19th century. In its place spa hotel Empress Elisabeth was built, which successfully overcame the difficulties of the past century. Commemorating centuries-old Venetian heritage that has left this city with beautiful stone monuments and the glory of Austria that helped initiate the development of tourism in a small, remote place, hotel Palace Elisabeth presents you the best of these two worlds. If you are interested in photography, this Summer here you can visit Exhibition of famous photographer Jadran Lazić.…
It is quite difficult to put into words the experience of Hvar @ Palace Elisabeth. Perfection is one word that comes to mind. Magical and mesmerizing are a couple more. The island of Hvar is Utopia and the Palace Elisabeth sits up on a perch like a actual palace. The attention to detail is intoxicating and the staff provides a flawless experience. The front desk makes you feel like royalty and they do it with ease and grace, We'll be back !!
This was a beautiful hotel on the island of Hvar. We cannot wait to come back and stay at this property again, we had a room on the fourth floor with a balcony and a view of the bay. The decor was very nice and the hotel was beautiful. It is a perfect location and you can walk all over the city and the hotel can also arrange for you to stay at the beach club so that you can swim and eat and drink right on the water.
The hotel is absolutely wonderful, cozy and luxurious at the same time. Our room was spacious, comfortable, beautifully designed, and had an amazing view. The staff is friendly and professional, and the island is magical. This is by far my favourite hotel in Hvar and I highly recommend it!
A lovely & beautifully decorated hotel with spacious elegant rooms, perfectly maintained, spotless, with great views of the sea & perfect location. We had a suite & a room & on the day of our arrival we were greeted with fresh fruits & sweet treats & there was a surprise everyday. Breakfast was served on a lovely terrace & we also had couple of drinks & sandwiches on the terrace lounge/ restaurant. The staff is very accommodating & friendly & all our needs were met. The laundry service was included in the charges. We loved Hvar & Palace Elizabeth.
It's hard to top the location of Palace Elisabeth in Hvar. The view of the harbor from our room was tremendous. The rooms were nice appointed with up to date common areas. I was able to get a last minute massage and the service was perfect. The only meal we had at the hotel was breakfast but it was outstanding. The Bloody Mary bar was perfect with everything one could want. We had a minor issue that the hotel was able to rectify quickly and then proceeded to provide a very generous gift for the minor inconvenience.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! We have felt so cared for by the staff and the food has been amazing. From the moment we entered the concierge, bellmen and check in teams were incredibly hospitable, professional and welcoming. We are grateful to the team near the pool/spa area, the staff at the breakfast area and the bar area for the great meals and drinks! The hotel is immaculate, recently (gorgeously) renovated and is conveniently located in Hvar. We highly recommend and look forward to returning!
