Amfora hotel is located well. It's a lovely 15 minutes walk to the center, pier, shops and restaurants. The walk is along the water -very safe and pretty.

This hotel is quite impressive in the public areas. The rooms however do not quite reflect the same standard. Despite booking a 'superior' room, it was on the small side and faced the rear of the hotel. We had to ask for a kettle and...More
My girlfriend surprised me with a birthday trip to Hvar and a one night stay here (A fair welcome break from Split to be honest!)

They have connecting rooms. We were 6 so we needed a suite and we were assigned one on the lower level with a walk out patio. The patio was lovely but the Hvac in the room was poor and smelled of mold. The kids developed a cough. If the suites are only on the lower levels you will be better with connecting rooms. That being said, the rooms are very small.
