We stayed here as part of a bike tour and were very impressed by the island and the accommodation. Hvar is fantastic and House Gordana is a great base to stay while you explore. It's up some steps (Hvar Town is hilly) but is spacious and wonderful and has a lovely terrace where they served a fantastic breakfast. Easy to recommend this one. Thanks!

I stayed for only one night, room was fine, hosts very friendly and helpful, great breakfast outside chatting to other guests at the big table, location iffy if you are not fit, lots of steps, owner took me in his car to the ferry terminal which was kind of him.

We were slightly early having walked 15 miles along the coast. Minika immediately offered us drinks and we settled down on the veranda whilst our room was finished. Lovely room, nice en suite facilities, fridge in room and a kitchen serving the 4/5 rooms on the first floor. Well equipped kitchen with oven should you prefer to cook your own food. Small terrace big enough to sit and watch the sea, bats and local life in the evening but ensure you have your mossie resistance on as these little critters leave big lumps! Breakfast was served individually on the veranda by Minika and her hubby. Yoghurts, cereal, juice, coffee, breads and jams, ham and cheese, you could want for very little. Really loved this place - it was full and some guests were staying for more than the one night we were. Short walk downhill into town and minika will give some great tips for places to eat where you will not be ripped off! Great place, lovely hosts, we wish we had been able to stay longer to explore Hvar town.

Well located pensione within easy walk of the port and main square and beach. Very helpful and friendly hosts, clean rooms and relatively quiet in what can be a busy town. If dragging suitcases up from the port it can be a bit of a climb but no great problem - the air conditioning once we got to our room was well appreciated. Happy to return!

We had 3 nights here and felt so welcome from the first moment. The owners couldn't have done any more for us. Great accommodation with a private balcony with sea view and ample breakfasts. Plenty of advice on local restaurants and places to visit when we asked. We will be back!
