This is a charming, older hotel in a wonderful location with a very helpful staff. The hotel made arrangements for our transfer to the airport VERY early in the morning and were very accommodating. There's a nice restaurant on-site and the hotel is very conveniently located for strolling though Cavtat as well as numerous other restaurants and ferries to Dubrovnik. There's no elevator so you do have to carry your bags up. There are nice outside seating areas for guests on the first and second floors and they provided an ice bucket, wine glasses, etc. so we could share a bottle of wine we'd brought with friends. Overall a nice experience.
We stayed two nights in room 6. It was pure pleasure. After a night in Dubrovnik staying at Villa Pattiera was very relaxing. The restaurant staff could not have been friendlier and the breakfast was outstanding. It’s a great family run hotel perfectly centered in this delightful small town. We highly recommend staying here.
Beautiful hotel in a lovely location . The family who run the hotel can’t do enough for you . P Michaela at breakfast and her son were wonderful. Even returned a shirt by post to us that my husband left behind. Would have been five start but the restaurant although lovely was a little confusing with menus and service sometimes very slow. I’m saying that was always very busy .
We stayed seven nights on a half-board basis in this beautiful and perfectly situated hotel. It is almost certainly one of the most friendly and efficient hotels we have every visited. Every member of staff was genuinely happy to help and make every aspect of our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Check in was fast into a spacious and comfortable room with all the amenities you would expect. We had room 2 which had a good view overlooking the hotel's restaurant and harbour area. The rooms have a nostalgic decor in tune with the history of the building and which emphasised its authenticity. Breakfast provided everything you would expect; juices, cereal, yogurts and cold cuts. Also available are cooked breakfasts to individual order i.e. bacon and eggs, omelettes etc. Each morning we were assisted and served by the most incredibly efficient and happy waitress we've ever met who could make every single guest happy in several different languages!. Evening meals were chosen from a set menu providing a good selection of choice, but also the option to choose meals from the 'a la carte' menu which carried a 40% discount. Regardless of choice; all meals served within the hotel restaurant were prepared perfectly and were of exceptional quality. Every evening was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. This truly is a unique hotel that provides an exceptional level of service in all areas and we would like to thank every member of staff for playing their part in making what was for us a memorable holiday. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future.…
We didn’t actually stay in this hotel, but had breakfast there most mornings on our one week stay in Cavtat. The breakfast was exceptional…there was so much choice. You could choose from the buffet …fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, pastries, cheese, ham etc and also had the option of a cooked breakfast. My partner had a cooked breakfast on each of our visits, which he really enjoyed. What made the experience so good was the lovely Romanian waitress …what an asset she is! She made us feel, very welcome, her lovely manner and smile were enchanting. Her son also works there …he was a lovely, friendly young man and made the best coffee in Cavtat! Thank you for making each start to our day so special ….we hope to return someday
We booked this Hotel on the basis of the exceptional reviews and we were not disappointed It is a family run run Hotel which make you feel a part of the family Nothing is too much trouble. The room we had shared a private terrace which overlooked the centre of Cavtat and the harbour. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom was really nice. We stayed halfboatd and really recommend the restaurant The breakfast could be buffet or have a meal cooked from the kitchen. The Evening meals were really top quality. We had a mix from the included menu and the a la carte which were a 40% discount really recommend the sizzling steak bought out on a hot skillet All in all didn't want to come home definitely ne back at some point once worked off all the calories!
I just had a week at this small family owned hotel run by the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. Every family member, and every member of staff were, without exception, so polite, friendly and engaging. They really make guests feel special. I had a nice comfy bed, a good shower with plenty of hot water, and great food all week. The hotel is a few steps away from the waterfront, the bus station and the various bars, cafes and restaurants of Cavtat. Easy access to everything you need to visit Dubrovnik, in a quiet laidback location. All with the added bonus of the lovely people who look after you at Villa Patteria.
We stayed for only 4 nights but had lovely room with a huge balcony and a terrace for sun bathing. Most importantly were the people. the hotel is family owned and run by Nina, her daughters and staff who all looked after us wonderfully well. The restaurant is excellent, we had all our meals there, the chef and the waitress were first class. A great location in the middle of town and close to the sea.
Great location in a quiet pedestrian zone. Large rooms with large bathrooms, good towels, good water pressure. Restaurant with extensive menu and fine wine list. Owners (I presume they were the owners) could not be more helpful and will arrange anything you need. Breakfast is excellent, with numerous options and the woman who presents it will ensure that you have everything that you need. Very close to boats (to Dubrovnik) as well as to hikes out of town. I hope to return, very soon.
Location: in the heart of Cavtat. Everything is very close and ideal for a walk. Accommodation: Extremely neat and comfortable accommodation with sea views. Food: You can hardly choose what you like best from the menu. Very tasty and nicely served food. For an appetizer, you always get homemade tuna pate (you have to try it), because of which, in combination with bevanda, you will perfectly cheat hunger while waiting for the main food. Staff: Friendly and smiling staff who always look to please you even more in an already quite pleasant atmosphere. One of the few accommodations where you can feel at home.
