This is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in and Luca is probably the most hospitable host we have ever met! The apartments are spotlessly clean and comfortable with a lovely sea view. Irena’s art throughout the building helps to make it very attractive and interesting. As others have mentioned the free ice, coffee, honesty bar, clean pool towels and everything else are a great idea. The pool area is very comfortable and kept very clean. It was very quite as many people had cancelled due to covid, I really hope next year will be better. Thank you Luka and family for all your kindness and hope to see you next year.
Luka apartments are really nice, spotlessly clean and value for money. They arranged a transfer from the airport and even took us to our next destination in Dubrovnik. We could get clean towels whenever we needed them and separate pool towels were available. It was a nice walk down into Cavtat where there is plenty of nice restaurants. The only downside for us was that there was no breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
What a brilliant find this was - Villa Lukas is perfect - spotlessly clean and well equipped apartments, beautiful pool area and hot tub, kitchen with honesty bar, free coffee and ice machine, sauna and gym. I cannot fault it and Lukas arranged a free transfer back to the airport. The situation of the apartments may not suit people with mobility problems however - a good 10 minutes steep uphill from the resort centre - we walked it down and took a cab back up which cost 50 kuna. However, in all honesty most of the accommodation in Cavtat is hillside so may not be the ideal resort for the infirm. A fantastic break - short flight and transfer time. And we were very lucky with the weather too. Thank you for a lovely stay Lukas and team, we will be back xx
We stayed at Villa Lukas for 6 nights in October, we booked directly with Luka via his website. His communication from the start was prompt and efficient and he was always quick to respond to any questions. We stayed on the top floor of the apartment building, we had a great seaview and the apartment itself had everything we needed. The pool area was great, and there was also a gym and sauna (we didn't use either). A really nice touch was the free coffee and also the honesty bar (handy for drinks by the pool or in the apartment). There is a supermarket very close by, and to walk into the centre of Cavtat took around 10 minutes. There is a steep hill, but you can also hop on the bus (which runs beyond midnight). The only minor issue we had was that you could hear noise from adjacent apartments - not voices, but people moving chairs etc because of the hard floors. This was only a minor issue (we did have a tendency to lie in so people were up and about before us)! Cavtat and the surrounding area is beautiful, our favourite bar was Beach Bar Branac which had a beautiful setting, also Beach Bar Little Star has an amazing location. Highly recommend Apartments Villa Lukas if you are planning a trip to Cavtat!…
We stayed at Villa Luka’s 4 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment and moved to a one bedroom next door for the last night of our stay as they were fully booked when I originally booked. Can not fault this place as it is lovely and comfortable. The villa is light and airy, tall ceilings and a sort of minimalistic scan design in common areas. There are a lot of stairs so not for those w mobility issues. The rooms are spacious w basic IKEA type furnishings, spotlessly clean w all the conveniences. There are plenty of towels and bedding. Kitchen has everything you need but it is tiny w 2 cooktops, no toaster, one fry pan small fridge. Store is literally 5 min walk on the corner where you can get basics for breakfast. Tiny table for 2 in the apt for eating and another little, table on balcony. So nice to sit out facing views of the ocean and a sort of forest below you. The bed is very firm but we encountered this on our entire Croatia trip. The pillows really need improvement. They are large flat slabs with zero give or poofiness whatsoever. The bathroom is brand new. Sparkly clean. Good water pressure. Shower nice, very small, but we are not large people so this did not bother us at all. The ac is in main room, so it did don’t get very cold in bedroom except for middle of night. There is a lovely skylight but we did not want a room full of bugs so kept it closed. Maybe one improvement to suggest besides new pillows would be a fan in the bedroom. We used the bedroom on same level as main room as it was only 2 of us. Pool/jacuzzi and gym and sauna were all great. Lots of pool towels. Nice common area where you can buy drinks, get salt pepper if u did not bring w you. Luka puts out platter of nice fresh figs from garden for guests to enjoy. He is super nice and always willing to answer questions, help with anything required. Loved Cavtat overall. Keep in mind this hotel is on a tall hill. Walking down is fine. Walking back after day of walking/being tourist is tough. Cabs are not expensive and right at bottom of the Barbour as soon as pedestrian only area stops. Several bigger grocery stores also right in that area. Overall great stay, highly recommend this place…
