We knew which room we booked for, but honestly note that the roof is a bit too low on one side of the bed, practically reducing the "standing space" to half of the room.
Also the bathroom was a bit small, but the shower was definitely large enough.
Everything was clean, and the air conditioning was a real blessing.
Breakfast was included. It's not the classic buffet: you get to choose one of five combinations and then they serve you. Don't worry - it's more than enough for any normal person, and it's good!
The location is fine. It's not on the seaside, but still a good place, totally good to walk to the beach and with plenty of parking space.
This is a small hotel run by a family but you have everything you need to enjoy your stay on the beach (far just 400m from the hotel).
Our room was small (it was an attic room) but the bed was comfortable, the air-conditioner worked very well and there was a good variety of channels in television. The bathroom was small.
Breakfast is included and you can choose one of five options that they offer.
I would like to advise too that they don't accept credit card, so you have to pay in cash.
The staff is friendly and parking is free.
The restaurant is on the average but the price is really good: about € 10,00 a dinner! In my opinion, the best restaurant in Baska is called "Bistro Kvarner" - good food, good service, good price!
I would recommend this hotel but I don't advise to get an attic room.
Comfortable stay, can't really complain!
Firstly the good things. We had a nice balcony on our room that overlooked the buldings and hills at the back. There was sun on the balcony most of the day. You could not see the sea on this side properly, but that was not a problem. The hotel is in a quiet position, so it was easy to escape and to sleep well.
The bad bits. Firstly one female member of staff was quite surly and unpleasant towards us on arrival. She did not have good English, but that was not an excuse to be so unfriendly. The breakfast was the worst we had in all the hotels we stayed in, in Croatia. We were used to a buffet, and plenty of choice. Here there is a fixed menu, which was very limited and consisted mainly of bread, croissants, toast, and other types of bread too! You had to pick from menu, 1,2,3,4 or 5, which was really boring! Each choice, as I said, was mainly bread. I asked for fruit and yogurt and this really caused them problems. I was given plain yogurt ( no fruity flavours here! ) and 2 kiwi fruit that was so hard they were inedible. They were not pleased I asked for something off the menu. The next day I took my own fruit down at breakfast, which caused evil looks from the surly woman!! We only stayed here 2 nights and did not eat in the hotel restuarant, after such an awful breakfast!!
The room was small, and had 2 main problems. I have shown these on photos attached. The headboard on the bed was a wooden shelf, and meant it was impossible and really uncomfortable to sit up in bed. The TV belonged in a museum, and was so high on the ceiling you could not have viewed it comfortably. But then you could not have sat up on the bed to watch it anyway, due to the headboard!!
Krk is a nice place, though not my favourite in Croatia. There are some lovely restuarants along the harbour and seafront. We were only here 2 nights. That was enough. I would not have liked a week here. There was very few English tourists here.
