We were warmly greeted on arrival by the friendly staff. The atmosphere in the hotel and restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed the minimalist SPA with hot drinks, where we spent a few hours alone on a rainy Saturday. As we chose the Gourmet package, our dinner was pre-planned with all possible exceptions, so there were no *surprises* afterwards. The restaurant is beautifully furnished and has a wonderful open fireplace. The hotel's location in the middle of the old part of town is also convenient. We highly recommend it.

Ideally located in Istria. Only 20km from Pula and 19km from Rovinj. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay a very enjoyable one. Beds and pillows were very comfortable The air-conditioning was excellent as we stayed during one of Croatia's heatwaves. The average temperature over the week was 35oC. Would definitely stay again.

What an incredible hotel! The standard was very high. The room was lovely and the surrounding village was beautiful. The Spa was amazing!! A beautiful pool and lovely outdoor seating area where their are a number of sun loungers to relax on. This was certainly our highlight of our trip. We were very pleased as well to have made a reservation at the restaurant. The food was amazing! Seating was just perfect, whether in the hotel's inner square, or opposite the hotel with views of the village, there can be no complaints.

We had 5 (2 adults + 3 children) 2 nights in suite 209. The suite had 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets, the 2nd bathroom is very small. So small that you have to sit diagonally on the toilet because there is no room for your knees. The shower has half a door because there is no more room and when that door is closed you are very close to the shower. The other bathroom is spacious.
The air conditioners in the room make a lot of noise but do not cool well. The slippers provided were broken after 1 run. The room was neat and clean. Excellent range of drinks provided in the minibar at affordable prices.
The indoor pool was great, the kids enjoyed it.
The breakfast buffet was fine, not a lot of choice but everything fresh.
The hotel also has a restaurant (Gault & Millaut), where we had a very good meal. The best potatoes ever! And price-quality more than okay.
You can use the public parking opposite the hotel free of charge. What was also well arranged is that with your card from your room you can also open the barrier of camping Mon Perin (5min drive) so that you can drive to the beach via the camping site.
The price for an overnight stay is on the high side.

Experience after 10 nights: The room was was too small and the burned fat smell from the restaurant underneath invaded the room. One evening the whole room smelled like a cistern. Service below standard. Unable to find an alternative solution and to manage things professionally. The alleged owner, to whom we tried to escalate the situation, doesn’t speak any language except Croatian.
The hotel as such has great potential to develop to a much better level, however, it seems that not even minor things is taken care about, e.g. no functioning hair dryer, no Kleenex, no appropriate to reading light at the bed.
Breakfast is rather 2-3 stars and below the pretended standard of the hotel. With one outdated coffee machine you should prepare some waiting time.
Dinner has much deteriorated over the last year. After earlier stays and business dinners in 2021 we were here three times in July 2022 and the price quality relation is not at level. Particularly the service level of the restaurant has a huge upside.
On a positive note of the convenient and cost free parking spot in front of the hotel should be mentioned…

Bed too soft and unsupportive => guaranteed backache in the morning. No soundproofing between the suite and the staircase/hallway/terrace on level 1 (earplugs must be worn). No blackout curtains on the 2 east-facing windows facing the bed (a mask must be worn). Very inadequate washbasin lighting. No storage space in the micro "bathroom" (small basin in the toilet with ceiling beams against which you bang your head!!!). Impossible to watch television from the bed (placed perpendicular to the bed). Incidentally: no box of tissues or kettle, and only one armchair (in a large suite). Restaurant on outdoor terrace with lovely views. Fresh, quality products (but not enough seasoning). Impeccable service.

We booked a jacuzzi suite BUT would never do it again. On our first night we were woken up at 7 by the noisy staff right under our window because there is a lavatory where they gather up and talk. On our second night, apart from the staff there was something else, one ''lovely'' german lady thought that nobody needs to sleep at 7 am so she turned on the tv (a german movie) in the fitness room so loud that we jumped out of our bed. I wen't down and closed the fitness room. People are so rude and think only about themselves. So no good night sleep! Otherwise, we loved the jacuzzi in our room, the whole settlement is nice and authentic, staff was ok (apart from the receptionist who tried to charge us drinks from the mini bar that we didn't take). The breakfast is not worth mentioning, very bland and too little choice. Free parking across the hotel. Also, a free entrance to the Mon Perin camp when you indicate (at the camp reception) that you are staying in La Grisa hotel.

Excellent small hotel, great staff, we were just 2 days but it felt like a week! Very special: If you want to go swimming you can just use your room-card to get to the beaches of nearby campsite. We even got beach towels for free... We are definitely coming back!

The room was clean and nice. It was overlooking the quite street. The staff were very kind and helpful with providing useful information. The breakfast was rich and tasty except the croissant which looked like a bit dry and industrial, but there were pletny of other options including different tipes of fruit juices. My friend and I had a very pleasant stay

I was there for third time in two years and I 'll be back again for sure. Very lovely hotel in the heart of the old small town of Bale. Free parking. Beach towels on request. Very clean (every day they clean your room and change the towels, even put the new beach towels and get the used one). Very comfortable beds and beautiful linens. Very good breakfast and excellent restaurant for dinner. Comfortable and modern bathrooms with toiletries and everything you need. Quite hotel. 10min drive to Rovinj and very near to the heart of Istria and also near to beaches. Very nice staff. Highly recommended.
