The location of the property is perfect. The rooms are big and spacious. Great mountain view too. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The front desk manager Ms. Nicole is the sweetest. We were there to celebrate a special occasion and she made sure everything was perfect. She even offered a room upgrade. She was available 24x7 to help us. The breakfast is great too.
Rough go… Couldn’t find reservation at check-in. Then room not ready until after check-in time. No extra blanket available for our son. Broken outdoor furniture and water stains inside. Two hours to get ice. Breakfast ok. Location not really walkable to either Shuhe or Lijiang. Though the setting is lovely with Mountain View’s, the bed was comfortable, and our son enjoyed feeding the ducks and rabbits, the overall experience was underwhelming. It seems like the staff is overstretched and maintenance required. This will likely be our one and only visit.
This hotel did have good points: the setting is nice (see picture of the (zoomed in) view from our balcony), our room was clean and a decent size, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. It was not a dreadful place to stay. However, Pullman is supposed to be an upper-end international hotel group, and it lacked the polish that we had anticipated on that basis. On our first evening, we went down looking forward to a cocktail before dinner and then a nice meal in the Western restaurant. We found the bar unstaffed; on trying to order cocktails in the restaurant instead, we found that they had run out of gin! (The following evening, we had excellent gin cocktails in Baisha, a nearby village so small it had cows walking down the main street, so it doesn't seem like there's a general gin drought in the area of Lijiang.) On trying to order sparkling wine instead of cocktails, we found they did not serve it by the glass; and having given up on a preprandial drink and opened the Western food menu, we found something that looked like the menu of a cheap British hotel chain. At that point, we left to eat outside the hotel, and did the same on subsequent evenings too.…
Great resort ! Good location near Suhe old town, Hotel room facility it is good, Restaurant provide traditional local food. Staff friendly and helpfully. If hotel can provide free shuttle bus to Suhe old town will be better.
Staying in the hotel is very comfortable. The surroundings are very nice and beautiful. You can find lots of guests take pictures from the balcony in the room. I suggest to staying in the villa because you can relax yourself here. You can see a private garden in the villa. The room is very clean and quiet. You can have good sleep here. The bathroom is big too and there is a huge bath tube. The foods in the restaurant are very yummy. Especially the service in the hotel is very nice. Esch staff would say hello to you upon meeting in the hotel. You can see smiles on their face. I will choose my accommodations here again next time.
The resort is located near Jade Dragon Mountain National Park, walking distance to Su He Old Town涑河古镇, also near White Sand Old Town 白沙古镇 and Da Yan Old Town大研古镇 , UNESCO heritage. A pleasant dining area with companion of smal animals.
We stayed at the Pullman Lijiang last year for a couple of nights, as a family of three, and it was a wonderful experience. The resort had a large number of free standing villas and we stayed in the one bedroom deluxe villa. Basically, it's like having your own little house, with a courtyard and spa. Very spacious, private and comfortable. The highlight for us was the outdoor spa, which at 3000m above sea level, you could literally stargaze whilst relaxing in the private heated spa. Very unique experience in an ancient town so high above sea level. As an Accor Plus member, we thoroughly enjoyed all the loyalty benefits such as welcome drinks and discounted dinner at the resort. The lobby and pond area also had a good view of the snowy peak jade dragon mountain, along with a few fat ducks that lives around the pond and they are not scared of humans. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to the Shu He Ancient Town, the smaller but more natural ancient town. Staff was polite and friendly. Special thanks to Heidi (reservation manager) for helping us pick our villa, sending us pictures of the villa in advance of our stay and briefing us on the resort facilities. Sijia…
At first when I went to Lijiang Pullman I had some problems as a American during Coronavirus. The staff at the front told me that I had to go to the police station because of coronavirus to register with the police. Apparently it's only a Lijiang thing because I haven't had any troubles checking in anywhere else because the hotel typically just registers on the system for you. At first I was going to have to go to the police office myself but the front office staff Vincent checked with his supervisor to see if he could run my passport himself. Vincent went to the police office himself and even offered me two naxi local postcards for my inconvenience. So great job to Vincent I would have been dead tired going to the police station after my 4 hour ride from Shangri-La. Food - Breakfast is great! Try to sit outside and look at the views there are also some animals that kids really enjoy including a peacock and some rabbits. There is a free horse carriage ride but honestly, the horse looks so sad carrying people around. I wish they could invest some money into the horse carriage gear. All of it looks makeshift like the muzzle on the horse is made out of some random wires. The horse looks kind of depressed maybe they could charge or limit the horse rides.…
Living 8 years in China it was our long time plan to visit Yunnan. After having heard so much fantastic feedback about Pullman Lijiang from friends previously staying there I decided to book a villa for a 4 nights stay. From the arrival onward the whole experience was absolutely flawless. The Villa was well maintained and clean and the bed super comfortable. First evening we enjoyed the most delicious hot pot in the hotel restaurant and our server Johnny was extremely attentive and polite. The presentation of the food was perfect. Staying in the villa entitles guests for breakfast in the Chinese Restaurant where the setup is very clever. A continental breakfast setup at the buffet with added hot dishes but all egg dishes / soup and noodle dishes are prepared a la carte and served to guests. Options are plentiful, fresh and delicate. The Restaurant Manager Jane was so polite, anticipating our every need and not only her and her team provided best service but also extended such genuine care and recommendations which sights are a must to visit. The Old Town of Lijiang was fantastic - make sure you visit once at day time but also visit at night. The atmosphere will be completely different. The Yulong Snow Mountain was an experience and looking from 4506m down into Yunnan with bluest skies was truly memorable. We also had a day trip to ShangriLa Region to visit the famous Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area. After coming back exhausted we used the Spa for a 2 1/2 hour scrub, full body massage treatment and value for money was good since there was a happy hour promotion with a 50% discount. During our stay we also met the Hotel Manager Michael who went out of his way to ensure our utmost happiness. Overall an absolutely unforgettable trip ant thanks to the whole Pullman Lijiang Team for making us feel so welcome! We will definitely come back.…
Even this hotel is not location near to Lijiang main attraction - old historical town - it is very good option to stay. It is only 10 minutes by walk for Shuhe old town. All the villas and main buildings of the hotel are harmoniously integrated into the landscape with the main focus on Lijiang treasure - Jade Snow Mountain which reflects in the pod just right after entrance to the territory of hotel. I was happy enough to be upgraded to stay at villa which has charm and great amenities. Huge bed with great linen and choice of pillows. Huge bathroom with shower and bath. Cosy living room. Great breakfast, mostly with local dishes, very delicious and various. In the afternoon it is possible to enjoy afternoon tea and glass of wine in the pleasant atmosphere of bar with great view over mountains. Also I have chance to visit SPA. Very professional and relaxing. And very thankful to the stuff: even sometimes we had some language barriers they were always eager to help and support in any needs. I would love to come there back. …
