We stayed at this B & B in January 2014. The hospitality and service is fantastic. Gerard and Sunny are happy to help you with hints and advice for day trips in the area around Dali and beyond. They can arrange everything for you, if you want. Sunny is great for cooking (ask for the spicy chicken with honey. WOW!)....

What a great place to spend our time in Dali. We are a family of four and we were looking for something away from the tourist hustle and bustle. This place was the perfect find, only 12km from the old town yet you would think you were a world away. The hosts Gerard and Sunny were fantastic and met all...

Sunny and Gerard are absolutely the best hosts. Their B and B is in Sunny's village just outside Dali along Lake Erhai. You walk into Sunny's family farm compound and then pass thru a wood door in the wall and find yourself in a beautiful garden with a lovely modern style home. The bedrooms and baths are modern with ethnic...

What a beautiful setting, lovely B&B and wonderful hosts. We were looking for a base in Dali, and also wanted to travel independently to the north of this area. Through another tour operator in Xishuangbanna, we were connected with Yunnan Minority Travel (http://yunnanminoritytravel.com/), run by Sunny and Gerard. We decided to stay in their beautiful B&B, located in Sunny's home...
