The hotel is all that you would expect from a Hyatt. However, being that they are attached to a mall with loads of free parking around, I was a little put out that they charge $12 per day for self parking. All the staff were very nice and friendly and they have a free airport shuttle.

The staff was excellent and the room was very clean and comfortable. The room had great amenities and made my short stay perfect! Loved the bed!! Very comfortable and cozy and quiet. Highly recommend for your stay in Birmingham and know you will be very pleased.

This place was a surprise stop. We actually were traveling cross country and our next stop was too far for us to make it with how tired we were. Surprisingly they had a room available for us as a drop in. We only stayed about 6 hours (it was late and we had to stay on schedule). It was beautiful.

I decided to treat my wife to a weekend stay at the Hyatt Regency in Birmingham for her birthday and when we arrived to our room the staff had placed a card with a special birthday message and a bottle of wine and fruit for her. Impressed with the personal attention to detail and I will definitely refer them to... More

Staff was very friendly. Bar tender at Shula's was very interested in us leaving, not offering food and not even knowing how to make a drink on the menu. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful as was the attendants upstairs in concierge room. Shuttle service was not always optimal.

The good: This is a really nice hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. We loved that we could eat dinner at Shula's, and walk around the mall. The not so good: I can't stand a hotel that charges parking. At least hide it in the room rate where I don't see it. Also, we went in... More

I found the hotel to be very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurants inside the hotel were upscale and the food was great. I really enjoyed the bonus of the hotel being connected to the mall for my shopping pleasure.

I'm a Platinum member and was expecting more food selections from their Hyatt Regency Club horderve dinner. There were no robes and slippers provided. However, the service from the receptionist and attendants in the Regency Club was great.
