This charming boutique hotel is located strategically nearby the Yulong River, which is a tributary of the famous Li River—Yulong river. If you get a room on the high floor facing the river, you will have a spectacular view of both the river and karst mountains. The staff were all very attentive and helpful. The restaurant was very good and we are there both nights. Not sure how far away other restaurants were. Would thoroughly recommend starting here and which we could have stayed longer. Lovely electric blankets if you need them.

We had a very nice experience and we are looking forward to go back. lovely hotel with nice views to the Yulong River. The place is super comfortable for couples, friends and families. The hotel is located in a quiet, restricted area away from the hustle and bustle of the town. This does mean that you are likely to eat most of your meals at the hotel as there are no restaurants nearby. But that is fine as the hotel offers a nice menu of Chinese dishes. The staff speaks English and has been well trained in the ways and needs of westerners so it is almost always possible to explain your needs and have them met.

We stayed here as part of a 20 day tour of China and it was our favourite hotel. On arrival we were given a room upgrade and throughout our stay we were spoiled by the staff, nothing was too much for them and they made sure we had an excellent trip. The room itself was luxurious and the fittings were to a very high standard. All in all we were very comfortable staying here. Highly recommend.

A perfectly situated hotel! I could have stayed at the hotel the entire time and been very satisfied. It was one of the best views in the area and located nearby the Yulong river, which most hotels are not. The food was good, my room was comfortable and nicely decorated with a balcony overlooking the river, the staff was helpful and very sweet, in-room massages, movies on your tv. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and there is more to do in Yangshou than one might think! We walked 45 minutes to do the 90 minutes bamboo raft, then rented a scooter to drive around on after having lunch at a local establishment. We only stayed two nights, but I could stay about two million more! I will definitely be back!

We stay at four highly rated hotels during our two-week visit. The Eden Garden Hotel was our absolute favorite. Cathy and other staff were very welcoming and friendly. They had a wealth of information to help us become familiar with Yangshuo and all it had to offer. We have many happy memories from our stay. Our hotel room overlooked the river and majestic mountains. The room was large and lovely, excellent bathrooms and comfortable beds. Peaceful quiet nights made for quality sleep.  Yangshuo town is a 20min taxi away, the hotel staff were always happy to phone a taxi for us (and the taxi driver was happy to arrange a pickup time to take us back), so getting into and out of town was no hassle at all. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night, enjoying some delicious Beer fish stew, which I would heartily recommend  All in all, the place was as close to perfect as you can get, would stay here again in a heartbeat.
