#36 of 557 B&Bs / Inns in Yangshuo County
Yangshuo Moonlight Inn is situated in the picturesque village of Jiuxian, which is nestled in the karst hills along the Yulong River about 8kms from Yangshuo. The village is one of the few remaining examples of the mixture of grey brick mansions and orange mud brick dwellings once common in the area, and its maze of winding alleys and cobbled courtyards will keep any keen photographer happy for some time. The surrounding area is also beautiful, with many walking and cycling trails along the Yulong River. Yangshuo Moonlight Inn itself is situated in one of the grey brick buildings in the village and renovation began in January 2017. It has been lovingly restored to retain all of its old-fashioned charm while gaining all the comforts of a modern hotel. The building is famous as the home of a local celebrity who won imperial kung fu examinations during the Qing dynasty. It now offers seven high-quality rooms to guests, each with its own modern en-suite barthroom.

really enjoyed staying at this cute, rustic hotel with my boyfriend. we got the top floor with the sky light and private bathroom. mei helped us organize everything once we got there and even picked us up with the driver from the train station. the homemade breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious and fresh. I got the chinese breakfast and my boyfriend got the western breakfast. she helped us organize the tea garden and bike rides as well. we will definitely recommend staying here if you want a well priced accommodation in yangshuo.

This hostel is in a beautifully renovated building a village a little out of town. It's a really peaceful place to hang out and it's quite easy to get into town either by taxi, scooter or bicycle. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is plenty to do round about. I much prefer staying around here to the bustle of the town. Some of the rooms are a little dark, because they have attempted to retain the charm of the original building, but the tasteful way that the rooms have been decorated and furnished make up for it. A real "Chinese" experience, but very modern and convenient.

I've stayed here for three nights in January. It's not really busy around here so very few tourists. May, the host, helped me plan my trip, got me a taxi from the station and arranged a ebike to ride on for two days. This location is not close to big cities so if you like to stay somewhere quiet and peaceful this place is definitely for you! My apartment was of good size but the shower could be separated from the toilet. I loved it here! It's also relative close to moonhill, Yangshou and the river.

I truly had an amazing time staying at the Yangshuo moon light hostel. Waking up to peace and quiet, fresh air and that amazing view. Truly breathe taking. I thought I just paid for a room, but end up getting a little villa to myself, rooms were very spacious and clean. The little villas are converted old farm houses, which gives the hostel a unique character. The host was very friendly, and she spoke very good English and was dressed in traditional Chinese clothing. She helped me arrange my days and showed me around Yang shuo. Only complaint I had, is that there are no shops nearby so I had to grab most of my snacks before returning back to the hostel. I will definitely return again
