The big plus of this hotel is its location right in the Yellow Mountains. But that's about it. Contrary to the many 'certificates of excellence' hanging in the lobby, the hotel offers small rooms with very thin walls and dated furniture (and bathrooms). Everything seems in need of a serious renovation. The ever-present mould does not make this place more... More

Although the location of the hotel is good the hotel itself isn't. It was so cold in the lobby and everywhere in the hotel you didn't not have a chance so spend time outside your own room in the evening. This is especially annoying when you're there with a female who has to sleep in a female dorm and there... More

There would be less points, if the hotel were in the city, but at the mountains there are not so many options to chose. Shower and bed were ok, breakfast restaurant really crowded (you should be ready to queue with hundred chinese), and it is just to fill your stomac, no culinar delight.

We stayed in a cabin room as a stay over on Yellow Mountain. The room was basic and quite damp. The adjoining room walls are vey thin and you can hear noise from the neighbours. There is a notice on the room walls stating that they acknowledge this but its a bit late when you have already booked and are... More

We stayed in the dorm which was alright, but completely overpriced. There are several cheaper and better options in the area and at the mountain in general. The bunk beds are extremely hard with no mattresses. The hotels restaurant is overpriced as well, so prepare to pay about 100元 or person and 50元 for breakfast (which we skipped).

We stayed in this hotel as a stopover on the mountain. The view from our room looked right out over the mountain it was incredible. The hotel room is basic and not as modern as some but you have to consider you are up in the mountain and resources are limited I actually really enjoyed my time in this hotel... More

we book a very (!!) expensive wooden cabin. it was smelling heavily from mold, there was no hot water to shower, terrible! We did read bad reviews but thought- ok, it’s only for 1 night, how bad it could be??! Well, even less that we could imagine! Thanks to the help of our guide, Bruce, who was booked from chinadiscovery.com,... More

I didn't want to miss out on the sunrise and sunset so I decided to spend one night at the top and hike both up and down. Options at the top are few and far between and expensive, so settle for the dorm room at Beihai, which was perfectly adequate, with a bathroom and no views. I shared with three... More

It is a good overnight place to stay in Yellow Mts. but the pictures of the rooms you see on this website with the mold may turn you off. I tried three different rooms and all the bathrooms had it, so I guess being there in that moist environment , they say it is expected.Bring your own rubber slippers to... More
