We stayed 1 night on Aug 01 2016, I was really disappointed for this hotel. First 1, they arranged room to us which is water flowed into the room so carpet was wet seriously. I have immediately called clerk they told me no way. I did not wanted argue with them but no way I did strong argument with them... More

It is a good overnight place to stay in Yellow Mts. but the pictures of the rooms you see on this website with the mold may turn you off. I tried three different rooms and all the bathrooms had it, so I guess being there in that moist environment , they say it is expected.Bring your own rubber slippers to... More

Great location. Close to the Cable Car. Nice room (we took the wood cabin). A bit small but you can manage. The problem is with the very thin walls. You can ear everything happening in the cabins next to you (shared walls). You get 2 thick coats in the room to wear if you wake up early to see the... More

Perfectly acceptable accommodations at the top of a long climb. There are views of sunrise. Separate bungalow cottages if you like. The restaurant has good food for both dinner and breakfast. Not quite as elaborate as the newer hotels, but very nice for the price.

We chose this hotel because it's one of the nearest to the Yungu cable car station, about 1.5h walk. You are advised to have left your big luggages at one of the hotels at the foot of the mountain e.g. Tangkou or Tunxi and just carry a small haversack with some simple change of clothes, bathing toiletries 'cause some hotels... Room is small on the newer part of the hotel. 2 small single beds and a very small BR. The place smelled mildew because on the mountain, it is very wet and foggy. The temperature in the room is difficult to adjust as the heater turns off when the room is empty. Similar to all hotels in China, you need... More

Our room was small and slightly mildewy, which is understandable given the age and location of the hotel--it's often rainy or cloudy on the mountain; you are literally in the clouds. The lobby was nice and the included Chinese breakfast was good. I don't know if the other hotels are any better, but there are few choices. Most of the... More

A hotel with a captive audience that is expensive, somewhat basic and getting a little tired. No water, no shampoo etc, very basic Chinese breakfast, basic restaurant and sometimes a long walk to your room. Its real advantage is that it's on top of Mt Huangshan and has cold beer! Check in and out was easy enough and the hotel... More

If you've done any research into accommodation up in the Yellow Mountains, you'll know there are very few options, all expensive, all with very conflicting reviews. To set the scene, we normally go for private rooms in hostels or B&Bs... But decided to blow our budget out of the water on a private room for one night up on the... More
