Myself and my husband came to stay here after climbing Huangshan Mountain and it was the best decision we made! It was a bit tricky to find and we were exhausted after being on the mountain but once we found it (it's down a little lane in the old town) we were in for a nice treat. Because it was... More

Great location near the busy main street. Great room in old chinese style. Charming hostess. Great chinese breakfast (wester breakfast also available). Very quiet. The hotel recommended a driver who took us around for 3 days. He was the most professional I ever experienced (400 RMB/day): smooth and safe driving, sparkling clean car. Big help to choose food in the... More

We stayed at Hui Boutique Hotel for two nights - in connection with a trip to the Huangshan mountains - and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is in an old building, of dark tree materials, the room and bed were also made of dark tree materials and everything was very atmospheric. The hotel is placed very close to the... More

We loved our stay at this antique courtyard hotel. It is located down a small alleyway with no street access. I imagine it would be hard to find without a guide, which we had, so make sure you have directions for your driver if you are travelling independently. You walk into a gorgeous reception area with lots of character, dining/lounge... More

Nice furnishings in room, and excellent location a few steps away from Old Street. The driver they arranged for us to get to Tangkou was quite friendly and helpful. However there were mosquitoes and one room got pretty smokey (someone was smoking upstairs / outside). Still a nice stay though.

A well preserved historical building from centuries ago, it's like to live in an old Chinese villa. close to the famous and touristy ancient street, but secluded and quiet enough to give you the whole experience. It's a nice place to be at the night before or after Huangshan climbing. The owner, Ben speaks good English (it's very rare in... More

We stayed at Hui Boutique Hotel the day before and the day after we hiked Huangshan (Yellow Mountain). Our taxi driver (arranged by the hotel) dropped us off by the side of a street and proceeded to bring our luggages down a dark, slippery alleyway. We arrived close to 10pm and was a bit concerned that our hotel was located... More

I must say, it wasn't exactly what I imagined the hotel to be, but it was a unique experience and I am happy that we stayed there. As the name indicates, it is an old traditional Hui Style house that was later converted into a charming inn (I'd hesitate to call it a hotel). Hallmark of a Hui style house... More

We stayed at the Hui for three nights in mid-February (2016). My wife and I as well as our daughter and her boyfriend, so two separate rooms. The rooms were basically the same though each with unique specific furnishings. Rooms really are beautiful, with high wood-beam ceilings, box-beds, antique furniture, etc. The electric heater worked ok, though this is a... More

This is an upscale (for Chinese standards) boutique hotel decked out with vintage Huizhou rooms, furniture and general feel. They are in an great location, have very clean rooms and piping hot showers. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Living in and having traveled extensively throughout China for the past two years, this is one of the most comfortable beds... More
