While visiting our study abroad daughter in Santiago we wanted to explore the Santa Cruz wine valley known as the Colchagua Valley. We selected this hotel based on a friend's recommendation and were delighted with our stay. Javier greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our rooms. He recommended several restaurants for our dinner that evening and even printed...

Stayed here 2 nights in March. Were made very welcome when we arrived at 10 pm, after being let down by our satnav. Provided meal and took luggage to room. It was a lovely hotel, furnished in traditional style. Comfortable seating, inside and out. Full size snooker table in a separate lounge. There were few guests, but during the day...

Lovely, peaceful hotel in the middle of vineyards. Quiet and remote with very comfortable rooms and room to spread out and relax. There is a pool and lovely outdoor patio to lounge in. It was pretty empty during my stay; I think our group were the only guests. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the food (dinner and breakfast)...

My wife and I stayed two nights at Vina and loved it! We ate in the in house restaurant and had delicious steak and wonderful pasta! Vina is set in the middle of a huge vineyard. We walked the surrounding roads and loved seeing the mountains in the background. Only suggestion would be to have more English speaking staff but...

So much potential, so little done with it. lovely rambling hotel stuck out in the wilderness. stayed one night - the entire hotel was empty except for the two of us. we were put in a lovely room upstairs that had a huge common balcony and nice outlook over the gardens. the bathroom was a disaster - cracked basis, poor...

We arrived late on a friday night, the staff, did not know anything about the hotel. He gave us the keys to our rooms. There was no running water, at all, we couldn't take a shower, nor brush our teeth. We asked for water bottles, the person managing the hotel said he knew where the bottles were, but they were locked....

This is the second time we have stayed at Vina la Playa, and it was well worth the return visit. The hotel is very comfortable, in a very pleasant setting, and the staff are a delight, with special mention of Esmeralda! The hotel is set in the vineyard, with a very attractive garden, a tennis court and swimming pool, and...

One of the nicest places we stayed in Chile, this is a really lovely small hotel set in a large, well kept garden, with swimming pool, and completely surrounded by vineyards. A very good place to relax. It feels like you are staying in someone's home. There's a tennis court too. We were given a choice of rooms, ours was...

We had a large room on 1st floor with balcony which though technically shared we had all to ourselves. Lovely view over gardens. Staff do not pester you but track someone down and they will bring you whatever you want including bringing it to the poolside a short walk away in the garden. English is spoken at reception and we...

We are world travelers and are always a bit skeptical of boutique hotels. But we just spent 4 nights at this beautiful lodge where the food was just superb and prepared fresh daily. What mostly stood out was the extraordinary service. The staff made you feel that we were the only guests there. We experienced a private BBQ by the...
