We used Posada Colchagua as our base to explore this wonderful valley and its vineyards. The Posada has the feel of a family hacienda; beautiful gardens, wide verandas, a pool and cozy rooms with wood-fired pot belly stoves. The rooms are very comfortable, with creature comforts, like satellite TV, heating, comfy beds, hairdryers and lovely bathroom amenities. The room has... More

We went in winter. It is better to go in summer to take advantage of the pool and garden. The main reason to visit the Colchagua area is to visit vinyards, which we did. We went out for dinner each night, but this needed at least a 20 car ride each way. Probably one should plan for at least 3... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and are still talking about our visit. While the hotel was beautifully landscaped, sparkling clean, and in an ideal setting for visiting the vineyards, it was the customer service provided by the owner and her staff that really set our stay there apart. We were impressed when we arrived with the... More

I came by night and I must say quite late. Nevertheless, the owner waited for me all along, and welcomed me with homemade food and a nice bottle of merlot (which made my night much easier). On the next morning, she gave me a map and very useful explanation on how to make a good visit of the Colchagua valley... More

My husband and I took a two day off season trip to Colchagua and stayed at Posada Colchagua. We stayed here because it was in a good location and had bikes included. The owner Leonor greeted us upon arrival in the taxi. The room was very spacious and had a wonderful bed, bathroom, and fireplace. The grounds are beautifully manicured... More

The four of us arrive in cooler weather but were soon warmed by the fireplaces lit by the marvelous staff, extra heaters, and the food and wine provided by our host. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and prepared to order. It is the perfect place to stay in the Colchagua Valley from which to enjoy all of the... More

We recently spent six nights at Posada Colchagua --it was such a great experience. We ran into four solid days of rain but were lucky to be staying in this hotel. We had a fireplace in our room and the staff made sure to start a fire for us whenever we wanted one. The rooms and facilities are beautiful and... More

We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful posada with a lovely lady, Eleonora. She greeted us on arrival with a bottle of Mont Gras Carmenere and a plate full of cheese & chorizo for snacks. We enjoyed our corner downstairs room (next to dining area) with a private little terrace. Our bedroom was quiet & large and most comfortable. Eleonora... More

Just like last time: Everything was spic and span, breakfast was great and the hostess and staff are really wonderful. The posada is a very close to Viña Mont Gras, which offers great family activities. I'd be slow to stay anywhere else while in the area and am very quick to recommend Posada Colchagua as a great place to stay.
