This Posada is really exceptional. La Dueña is so sympathetic and will give you a lot of proposals to visit wineries, campos, restaurants… The place is so quiet , surrendered by a nice garden, small swimming pool, far from the road. The service is really good and you can even ask to them for your laundry.

We stayed here for 4 nights as we explored the surrounding wine region. The location is very good. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. Breakfast was simple, but since we were eating out for the rest of the day, that was probably for the best. The grounds are well looked after. The highlight was definitely Eleonora the owner, and her team, who made us feel so at home. They helped with various requests we had. It is somewhere we would definitely return to. Great value for money.

Can't say enough about Leonor and how she makes you feel at home. She is always taking the lead to give you what you need, even before you say it. The breakfast is great, real country breakfast with real fresh eggs and a nice expresso! Perfect for couples.

We had a warm welcome and a wonderful stay at this lovely establishment! Sra. Leonor is a delightful hostess. The room was very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and carefully served by the smiling staff. They took care of all our needs, including laundry. As soon as we can plan another Chilean

Can't say enough about the care and attention we received from Leonor and her staff as our trip came to a screeching halt due to Covid. Our two night stay turned into five nights as we awaited a plane ticket home. We relaxed by the pool, enjoyed delicious breakfasts, watched sunsets from our second floor patio, went to local restaurants recommended by Leonor, visited all the wineries that were still open. The posada is beautiful and well maintained. A very relaxing and pleasant place to visit the surrounding wine country. When we return, this is the ONLY place we would consider staying!!!!!

This laid back villa in the heart of the Colchagua Valley was the ideal base for exploring wineries. Leonor greeted us with a beautiful bottle of wine from the nearby winery and was able to assist us with booking tours and lunches prior to our stay. She is a very welcoming and wonderful lady who was available to answer any of our questions. She certainly makes you feel at home. At the end of each day of wine touring we enjoyed a relaxed dip in the pool before heading off to dinner, or simply chilling on our patio with charcuterie and wine. We chose not to rent a car (for our 6 day visit). We simply caught a bus from Santiago to Santa Cruz and UBERed around. We preferred the freedom to have wine and lunch and not worry about driving - Vino Bello, Laura Hartwig, Montes, Vina Montgras, Clos Apalta (Lapostolle), & Viu Manent. We had to plan approximately 12-15 minutes for pick up at the B&B, but it was simple and very inexpensive. The bedrooms rooms are large and well decorated (with AC, wood burning stove, fridge, tv, table & chairs), bathrooms are spacious with a tub/shower. We would highly recommend Posada Colchagua.

The location of this posada is the best- close to fab wineries, without being in the "beaten path"! Leonor is the "Hostess with the Hostess"- offering any & all assistance you might need. Highly recommended!

Stayed here in February 2012. Thought it was great then and remains so. Owner/host Lenore is about the best in the business. Very attentive to every detail. Beds are very comfortable. Great location for winery tours and there are many in the area.

Drove straight from arriving in Santiago from the UK flight to acclimatise before our 2 week tour of the country. Leanora is lovely, making you feel straight at home. We had room 6 at one end of the property, excellent WiFi and outdoor seating on our own terrace, good bed and bathroom. The garden and pool are well maintained and easy to lose yourself with a book for hours on a lounger. Peaceful countryside. This place has been perfect for us and can not recommend it enough. We went to Viña Mont Gras up the road, Clos Apalta and the Colchagua Museum in Santa Cruz. Roads nice and quiet for driving.

Posada Colchagua is fantastic in every way. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the owner, Leonora, makes so much effort to make your stay the perfect stay. She gave us a bottle of fine wine on arrival and insisted on giving us further bottles during our five night stay allowing us to sample good examples of the local output. The Posada is recently built, and Leonora’s design touches are everywhere to be seen. The rooms are spacious and scrupulously clean. All the rooms face a courtyard area with a beautiful swimming pool, and there are stylish sun beds for enjoying the long hours of sun. Whilst the Posada does not have a restaurant there are many very good places to eat within a short drive, and on a couple of evenings we brought simple salad food in to eat on the patio, our hostess happy to provide cutlery and crockery. Close to many of the best vineyards Leonora was happy to make bookings for us at short notice including a fantastic tour on horseback of the Viu Manent winery, with excellent lunch to follow. This is a truly exceptional accommodation which we would highly recommend to other discerning travellers.
