The way to the lodge leads through fruit country and away from the better known area of the Colchagua valley we have visited before. You get closer and closer towards the mountains with beautiful views of snow capped mountains. The time of the year was perfect with all the leaves turning in the fall. It seemed that we were going... More

The Tumunan Lodge is an excellent choice if you are looking for a comfortable base to explore the region. The food is incredible, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the owners are exceptionally helpful. They go way out of their way to make sure you have everything that you need during your stay. We travel a lot and this... More

The lodge is set in a beautiful part of the Colchagua valley. An ideal location with magnificent views of the hills and mountains and its a place where we could relax after a long walk or enjoy a glass of wine after a private tour of the vineyard. Will recommended and arranged other activities for us. The lodge is spacious... More

Before booking our four night stay at the lodge, I tried to find some bad reviews on the lodge, but couldn’t find a single negative comment. Now I know why – the lodge was really an amazing experience and there is nothing bad to say about it. My wife and I went to the lodge for our honeymoon (4 nights... More

I went to this hotel with my family and loved every minute of our stay. The lodge is tastefully decorated, the grounds very well kept, the rooms are comfortable and there are loads of things to do, from fishing, to swimming, to walking around their vineyard. The surroundings are very quiet so this place is perfect for a relaxing time.... More

Will and his wife are wonderful. My family recently stayed at the Tumunan Lodge prior to Christmas. Will helped organize vineyard tours. The best part about staying at the lodge is Will's knowledge of the local wine culture. We visited both large and small vineyards, which made for an excellent experience. We also ate many meals at the Lodge. His... More

Although just a few hours from Santiago, this lodge takes you into the heart of real Chilean countryside. Following the dirt road in the dark made for an exciting drive, and the location really is quite something with high mountains covered in foliage every where you look. Accommodation is comfortable, simple and clean, and service is excellent - much better... More

If you are just visiting wineries, or just hiking in Andes, there are probably other places to stay. But to combine both experiences Tumuñan Lodge is the place. We didn't mind an hour drive to Santa Cruz wineries so that we can escape at the end of the day to piece and quite of the lodge. Will and his wonderful... More

Dear guest, Thank you very much for choosing Tumuñan Lodge and taking the time to post your experience on tripadvisor. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the lack of screen on the window. I had an amazing time at Tumunan Lodge while traveling to Santiago over spring break. I wanted to get out of the city for a day and ventured south to Tumunan Lodge. The driving directions were a bit difficult, but once I arrived at the hidden location I was able to fully relax. Will and his wife serve excellent food... More

The drive from Santiago to the lodge is easy. The roads, even the unpaved sections, are surprisingly good. Once outside of the city, the road is flanked by mountains and surrounded by vineyards and orchards. Google Maps got a little sketchy as we got farther from San Fernando and closer to the lodge. At the end of the journey we... More
