You are in the middle of a South American desert. Not a few dunes but a whole thousand square miles of volcanoes, deep red canyons, a lunar landscape with gurgling geysers. The hotel offers good tackle elites...pool, air-con and excellent breakfast given the extreme location.. Sited in the centre of the small dusty town there are. Numerous cafes and restaurants... This hotel is beautiful, the architecture is unique and very much in harmony with the charming small town it occupies. The staff is extra friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable, and the included breakfast is quite adequate.

Even better we're the staff, Julian was great and the manager was lovely. Cheese and wine evening was great also - loved it and met some... More

Absolute a great time, the entire staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. Accomodating ate excellent. Free cheese and wine at the end if the day is a plus. Swimming pool , modern facilities. We did love the place. Previous night we stayed at another hotel one block away, the staff was unpleasant and facilities not as good. It's worth the... More

Room: absolutely fine, clean, AC, yet not too big since houses in San Pedro are generally smaller in the city centre. Location: perfect. Right next to Main Street without loud business. Service: really good and personal. Free water, coffee, tea and cookies 24/7 The best thing: option to join daily free wine and cheese from 6-8 pm and meet other... More

We recently stayed at the Lodge Terrantai for 4 nights having defected from another hotel after some issues. It was such a relief to walk into the peace and tranquillity of Terrantai and meet the kind and attentive staff, that I immediately arranged to transfer our accommodation. Jorge and Camilla were fantastic in making us feel most welcome and helping... More

Was a bit hesitant to book here given it was more expensive than the average but it was well worth it. The room and bed were huge! And they had little touches (handwritten notes, chocolates, water bottle for those treks in the desert, etc) which make the stay extra special. The staff (especially Jorge and Camilla!) were amazing and go... More

I also loved the amazing staff, who, to a person, were friendly, caring, attentive and helpful -- making you feel like their very valued guest. Numerous nice touches abound throughout the hotel,...
