San Pedro is an expensive place to stay, which is why I guess they can get away with the high prices, but this hotel is shabby, not very clean, and is short on amenities. In any other town, I would not have paid even half the rate for such a room. On the plus side, it has a really nice,...

We had a 4 night/5 day stay in this hotel. We had paid for an upgrade so I don´t know what the other type of rooms are like. Our room (85) was nice but very cold as the sun didn´t shine inside, the radiator came on at 6pm and went off about 7am but we asked the receptionist if they could give...

Great location but not much else. When I checked into my room on March 9, 2016 there were insects in the bathtub that would reappear after I would rinse out the tub. The plumbing was awful. No water would flow from bathtub faucets or shower faucets. Desk clerk refused to give me another room until I stood my ground late...

This hotel is not worth it's expensive price tag! Management is complacent and doesn't care about guests. San Pedro is a small town so most hotels are centrally located. There are a few general issues with this hotel which are the price, broken pipes with no water, breakfast tables that don't get cleared unless you ask, key card reading systems...

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a group tour, using it as a base for trips to local sights. It's well placed for the town, only a couple of hundred yards from the centre. The hotel itself is quite pleasant, with some rooms round the pool, and others in outbuildings away from the main hotel. Our room,...

Plus: very close to the Main Street of San Pedro with most restaurants and shops; Breakfast is OK; Reasonably priced if you get a good deal; Minus: frequented by youth groups = noisy at the pool and in the evening (even after 2200); Many rooms face the central place where tour buses arrive and depart as early as 0445 (Geysirs...

I spend 5 days at this hotel in July. As others have mentioned it is well located (only a couple blocks from the main plaza and one block from Caracoles street, where most restaurants and shops are situated). The hotel is a nice complex of rooms and cabanas, it is kept very clean and the staff is corteous and helpful....

Hostería San Pedro is well located a few steps from main streets in San Pedro Atacama. Grounds are large allowing easy access by tour buses. However, facilities are old and in need of a major renovation. Bed was tired and bathroom almost unacceptable due to plumbing so old no toilet paper can be flushed down, creating an uncomfortable bathroom due...

We were switched at the last minute to this hotel, where we stayed for 3 nights during our group tour in Chile in January. The hotel had a lovely swimming pool in the courtyard, but that was its only redeeming feature. Our room was the poorest of all the rooms we had on our tour – small, dark, not particularly...
