This hostal was a pleasant stay for 2 nights in San Pedro. Having read some of the reviews, I was anticipating this place to be WAY out of town (which it is NOT), and also a trek to get to. As it sits just on the outskirts of town it is far cheaper then the other hostels and only takes...

It is one of the cheapest in San Pedro. It has nice rooms and clean toilets and showers with hot water. The kitchen is good enough. The only issue are some guests who believe someone will come and clean after them. Leaving dirty kitchen tops and tables. The downside of the hostel is that there are quite a few flies...

Stayed here for 5 nights and were very happy. Classic hostel arrangement but the buildings are built in the local style which makes it quaint. Value is given (for san pedro standards, meaning SP is very expensive) Staff is lovery and the three tours we booked through them were amazing!

$35 a night for a private room, with shared bathroom. The room was small, no bin, no towels provided. The room was clean, and the bed was adequate. The wifi only works in the common areas. The showers are hot during daylight hours, because they are solar heated. The owner was nice and helpful. Location is fine. Overall basic, and...

I stayed in this hostel in 2004-2005 and it was a great place. On that time was not part of the hostel world or other other travel guides, it was an anonymous hostel in San Pedro. I arrived from Bolivia and I received the news that the bus to Argentina had left on the day before and it was necessary...

No soap, poor wifi signal, no towels, and the other guests were very inconsiderate and loud. If you are on a budget this place is the cheapest. We stayed for three days and our individual bills were cheaper than some of the excursions. They do not take credit card, be ready to pay cash. Staff was friendly.

We stayed here longer than expected and ended up really liking the place. The staff were very nice and helpful! There was a really nice vibe and we met lots of great people. The bed were comfortable and warm and was the cheapest place we found, shower was good too. The kitchen could have been better though

I stayed in an 8-person room for three nights and the beds were sufficient and the bathroom actually had toilet paper which was a plus. However it seemed that every other day the water didn't run and the toilets would not flush. But, a cleaning lady did come every other day. The kitchen was horrendous and swarming with flies and...

The staff at this place are lovely and the location is great, 5 minutes from the main street (though San Pedro is tiny anyway). We were in the only private double room, the rest were dorms. The thing that lets this place down is the type of people who stay there. It is very noisy-even in the "silence period" from...
