Stayed at Candelaria for seven days. The staff, especially Mirian, is polite and always eager to help you. The rooms are not fancy but functional and get cleaned on a daily basis. The breakfast is really nice: bread, salame, cheese, yoghurt, fruits, coffee, tea and an amazing smoothie are available. It is a little bit far from Calle Caracoles (around...

The hostel is ok, the rooms are cute and there is a patio in the middle. To us it seemed that the hostel has already seen better days. As we were 'lucky' enough to experience the only 3 rainy days in San Pedro, the hostel rooms and the bathrooms were muddy and dirty really quickly. And, you really should like...

Loved it! The hostel is a little far from city center which is good and bad. Is good because it is really quiet and you can rest in peace. Is bad because you have to go to city center every day to do something, but that is a 10 minute walk. This is a place for people who want to...

Driven by locals this hostel is ten minutes walking from the centre. The spaces are big enough and even when it's full it doesn't feel crowded. The owner is quite grumpy but the rest are ok and will help you with a smile. Rooms with bathroom are more expensive but the save you the walk to the bathroom in the...

I stayed for a week and everything was nice. Calm and cousy, nice comon area with hammocks, great breakfast, nice and helpful stuff, really hot water, good vibes, parking for a car.... Be aware they have cats and dogs ( that are a bit dirty from living in dust). Two bathrooms are not enough when hostel is full and in...

Myself & 8 friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Candelaria hostel. Miriam the owner is very attentive and caring. She speaks Spanish which was not a problem for our group. Had many pleasant conversations with her. She always made sure we were well prepared for our trips & helped us with local knowledge on several occasions. Even discounted our rooms...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the owner was friendly and welcoming, as were the resident dogs and cat and chickens! The rooms were clean and and each had a small patio to sit outside and enjoy the afternoon sunshine. There were also hammocks dotted around the gardens to relax in. The breakfast was amazing and much more than what...

10 min walking to the center, I'd not recommend to do this walk at night. Breakfast was excellent, Miriam (owner) gave natural fruit juice, cold bread and eggs. It was served from 8-9:30am, we missed a couple of breakfasts because some excursions started before. I asked for some "picnic" instead of breakfast which she finally gave us without much approval....

Unusual little hostel with rooms set around a courtyard complete with chairs, tables and hammocks. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom which was perfect for us. The best thing about it though was the lovely people who owned it. The lady and her daughter were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, even giving us a...

All Hostels have good and bad things. Some have great breakfasts, some nice rooms and some lovely outdoor areas. We stayed at this hostel because it was one of the few availabe when we booked and the reviews weren't to bad. The rooms were decent, the beds OK, the breakfast about a five out of ten. That's the good. Now...
