My partner and I were here for a romantic trip, so we splurged on a Lake room, which has a porch that overlooks the water. The space was clean, comfortable, and cool. The fresh flowers (which I believe they grow on site) were a nice touch.
The staff spoke English very well, and were also quite personable. Sometimes I found myself chatting with them about random things like hair care or one of the resident cats. Not at all an expectation I have of hotel workers, but the friendliness of the staff really set the vibe for us.
We spent a lot of time pool side, reading while snacking. It was all and all a very relaxing stay, and I would highly recommend it!
P.S. The hotel cats are adorable and the most relaxed beings I've ever encountered. One of them, the tuxedo, would sleep on the pathway leading to our room. Obviously we would move around her so she could remain unbothered.

Even if the location is a little far from the city center, this Hotel is perfect in terms of rooms, swimming pool, quiet, restaurant... and especially with Quality service especially when you have a health problem during your trip. A big thank you to the owners of the premises for their help and the attentions given during our stay. A man-sized hotel full of charm.

The entrance off the walled parking area is so understated, except for some beautifully planted pots, that I wasn’t sure we were in the right place until stepping through and turning to the desk where Sreynou greeted us warmly with excellent English. From there a quiet and spacious covered walk leads through the vegetation to the open air restaurant including tables where we ate dinner beside the large saline pool. The garden continues to unfold along stone paths to seemingly remote rooms a short distance away. On the west side is the colourful lily pond where we watched birds, fish and the occasional lizard while eating breakfast.
Ridged bedroom ceiling and deep porches where sitting and looking out to the gardens becomes restful.
Dinners and all day service are so good that I wonder why breakfast offerings are only basic but satisfactory.
This is a very calm place that, for those of us who are normally very active travellers, can easily sit and listen or swim or watch nature or just walk around and absorb the very peaceful feelings this resort creates.

Great location, quiet atmospheric. Friendly couple who have managed this Resort for years. Breakfast well cared for, rooms spacious and lovely large beds. Nice pool where you can step well, that has been thought about. The staff was attentive and friendly. In short, a place you don't expect there. With the tuk tuk it costs 2 to 3 dollars to return from the city. The staff will take you to the city with the tuk for free.

Charming hotel away from the city. The setting is just superb, a haven of peace. The room is large with a nice terrace. Dinner by the pool is magical. The speakers part of the night in the area require to equip yourself with earplugs. The staff is very attentive, and the owners are exceptional (following a health problem, the very caring owner was extremely kind to drive us to the clinic and explain the situation, we enjoyed it so much, a big bravo).

We enjoyed one night at this resort in Lakeview cottages. The cottages were very attractive with interesting showers and sliding doors out to a patio where you could sit and watch the lake. Everything was extremely clean. The pool was also nice and very clean, although the hot tub does not work which annoyed my friend. I spent an afternoon lounging by the pool and enjoyed myself. Breakfast is included and it was nice. Nothing remarkable. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating like everywhere in Cambodia. The place is like a botanical garden, and it is rather overgrown and needs attention, which I imagine is because of the hardships from the pandemic. I think it would probably take an entire fleet of gardeners. Ordinarily to keep this place up to snuff. We would definitely return. It’s a little out of town, but not far. My friend took two private tuk tuk tours through the resort, and one of them was good, and the other was not. We paid $96 each for our rooms midweek January.

We stayed for 2 nights after visiting Phnom Penh and before our journey to Siem Reap, we wanted to see a bit more of Cambodia and Battambang was an excellent choice and so was this hotel, we couldn’t have stayed anywhere better, the only mistake we made was only booking 2 nights! It truly is a little oasis and after the hustle bustle of Phnom Penh was a welcome relief – just outside of Battambang and very peaceful with lovely rooms. We had a lake room and our daughter and partner had a garden room, the garden room was great but the lake room was even better, so relaxing to sit (or use the hammock) by the lake on your own private terrace. The pool was lovely and the staff were very friendly. We ate at the hotel on the two nights we stayed because the food was really good, a wide menu choice and a perfect setting by the pool area. Breakfast was a bit limited but adequate. We came to Battambang to experience the rural life, to see the bat cave and some historical/landmark sites – I booked a full day and half day tour by tuk tuk with Battambang Tours By Bun – it was full on and very interesting and informative, well recommended (I will do a separate review). So if you are planning a visit to Battambang for whatever reasons, fully recommend this hotel.

Really nice getaway in BTB. The resort is set in genuine countryside complete with its own little lake and well kept leafy natural grounds. The pool setting is quite beautiful with a 2 level restaurant overlooking it. Two sets of accommodations: private garden rooms with modern amenities (except a TV which was fine with me) just steps away from the pool and several very lovely bungalows surrounding the little lake (a bit pricier of course). The resort itself is like 4-5 km or 5-10 min drive from town center.
The food offered is very good and reasonably priced. Fresh, clean, fairly large portions, and excellent service. I only had dinners there and particularly enjoyed the big salads, stuffed eggplant, and pasta carbonara ... mmmm.
The staff provided excellent service and all spoke good English. The owners Johann and Pari are a lovely couple who'll make your stay as comfortable as possible. I would consider this place an upper range type of accommodation but because of the unfortunate cover-19 situation, they're giving a bit of a temporary discount so come take advantage of this wonderful gem before all the crazy tourism comes back. Well done and thank you Johann and Pari!

This hotel is a bit out of the centre of town so you need to get a tuk tuk ($3) or use the free hotel shuttle. But it’s worth it as the rooms, restaurant, pool and surrounds are superb. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They booked Phare tickets, bus tickets, bat cave tour etc at no extra charge. Food at the restaurant is wonderful and can be eaten by the pool. Breakfast was included and while not extensive, was good quality.
Just be aware that you’re likely to encounter mosquitoes. We were there in the dry season and there were quite a few around. In the rooms there is insect repellant and an electronic bug swatter. We found they were coming into our room through the drain in the shower so we just put a washcloth over it and it solved the problem.
I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Battambang.

After staying in many hotels in 17 days of travel in Cambodia, the Battambang Resort is by far the best place we have found. So relaxing, clean and charmingly beautiful. Mr Pharath and Miss Srey Nuo took such very good care of our every need. Great value, best restaurant.

Travelled from Siem Rep by bus and Resort picked us up from town. We were there in a July this year. Very wet and a couple of travellers we met at the resort had an horrendous trip on the river from Siem Rep to Battambang.
Check the season before you take the boat.
Enjoy

We had the Garden room it was spacious lovely bathroom, beautifully decorated. This is the BEST hotel in Battambang I tried to find a decent hotel in the centre but does not exist. We booked this hotel and we travelled 9 weeks and this was a highlight of our holiday. We asked the hotel to provide a yuk yuk tour for a day. This was another highlight. I think his name was Reak Smey. Please ask for him. You won’t be disappointed. Visit the Bat caves as well. Enjoy, I am so jealous!!🌸🌸🌸
There are more places to choose from in the Battambang area.
