If you like a hard bed with dirty sheets, bugs, lizards 3, loud club music till 2 am uncooperative staff, this is your place. Our PayPal was also illegally charged for 2 Ubers from the front desk that we didn’t order. Check photos. They wouldn’t switch rooms with us so we could sleep in a quieter part of the hotel as well. They told us we didn’t see anything and that we didn’t see the lizards crawl from the wall to under our bed. You’re better to sleep in the street.

When i arrived was told pool would be out of action for few days i looked at room it was terrible .i asked for money back but manager refused saying i booked through expedia. I contacted expedia who did not reply. So i was stuck in fawlty towers for 8 nights. The manager lied about pool saying it would be ready in few days. Look at photos it wont be ready for months I choose a hotel because of pool. I should have got full refund . I was having to pay $ 5 a day to swim at other hotel . The manager refused to reimburse me for that . Thinking it was a big joke. In general most staff were lazy and did not try to help. Exception was the kitchen and cafe staff who were always helpful the staff in sky bar restaurant were also not helpful. I asked for diet coke and they kept saying they did not have any ? I tried telling them there was some in fridge downstairs but they did not care or think of a way to try and help me some too busy playing on phone (you know who im talking about coffee shop girl ) All in all this place was appalling Also very noisy .people moving furniture around all night ? On floor above me ?what was that about ? The manager of this hotel does not try to find solitions. He did give me free room upgrade but that does not make up for not having a pool

Accommodation date: 23-Nov-2019 (1 night only) Positive: The whole room, including bathroom, is clean and the wifi connection is good. What I love the most is that the balcony faces the river which is quite refreshing and does not make me feel stuffy at all. The hotel is located in the city center which is so convenient and if you are travelling from Phnom Penh, you may ask the driver to drop you near the bridge which is only about 850 m to the hotel. You do not need to cross the bridge or ride until you reach the transportation company at all because most those companies are located at least 1.5 km from the hotel. Negative: The pool area is quite old and not very clean and the male staff does not really friendly. The sky bar is quite crowded sometimes and most of the customers there are not staying at this hotel. Some tips: There are Grab and Passapp (online transportation) available in the city, but it is difficult to find during night time, from 9 pm onward. Also, make sure NOT to hold your phone or any valuable items carelessly during the ride because thiefs would grab it.

We spent 3 nights here and have mixed feelings about the hotel. Mostly, we found it to be generally dirty, but there were some things we liked about it. Pros: - Spacious room with good air conditioner. - The price was reasonable. $22/night for 3 of us; breakfast not included. You can buy breakfast in the hotel restaurant for $4.00. - Across the river but a walkable distance from downtown Battambang - Free pool table - Nice hot shower with plenty of water pressure - Comfortable bed and pillows Cons: -We were afraid to try the creepy-looking pool with murky water. It looks nothing like the picture on the website. -Long wait for elevator - we rode it a couple of times then just took the stairs after that. -The whole hotel could use a good cleaning

I stayed here 6 nights in February, 2019. The external hotel is beautiful, reminded me of the traditional Wedgewood China, pastel blue with ornate white trim. The inside was beautiful hardwood, floors, banisters, furniture. But many small items were neglected. I had been in hotels all over Cambodia the past month. Only one lost my laundry and misplaced half of it...King Fy. Only one took the partially used soap each day and after two days gave no more...King Fy! Only one had failed to chill the drinks in the mini bar before our arrival...King Fy! Only one required me to go to the desk every day to ask for two packets of coffee and they would not give me more! King Fy! Only one did not empty an overflowing waste basket of soiled toilet paper in the Ladies .room in the breakfast restaurant all week!...King Fy! The breakfast was minimal...cheap..the whole management was cheap! Tragic waste of a great resource!

Nice big room, shower was good. We were on 5th floor and had a good view of the river, for a cheaper price then 'river view' rooms! Good location, only short walk to restaurants and bars. Some bars were a little too close, with loud music and karaoke playing. The decor is a little tired, not like the glossy photos on their website. Our room was missing the curtains. The pool is NOTHING like the photos. It's dark and gloomy, in the basement next to the loading bay. We did swim in it, and it was refreshing after a day in the hot city, but it's not a place you want to relax and read a book by the pool. The doors of the rooms have an alarm that goes off if you don't close it properly....something that most of the other guests seemed to have trouble with.....!! The room key needed to be left in the slot inside the room if you want the fridge to remain on. So, every time we wanted to get back into our room we had to get a staff member to open our door. A little bit of an inconvenience. They said they only had one key per room. Wifi is not very good here, dropped out constantly. But, even with all these negatives, it's not a bad place to stay.

Check in was easy and quick. The room i had was large and clean with a nice shower area. It has a rooftop bar with good views of Battambang . From the hotel you can easily walk to the city centre or a cheap tuk tuk ride for $1 USD. There are local restaurants only 2 minutes walk from the hotel with good food at local prices, One thing I will say is that they did not have a menu in English.. For the price I paid for my room, I was happy staying there....

This hotel is defenitely ok, but the question is, why stay here... Staff is correct and helpful, breakfast is ok, rooms are ok but the whole thing lacks atmosphere. You might as well be in a Warsaw hotel in the 1980’s. Of course no one can help that, it was built that way. If you’re looking for a more Cambodian feel, make a better choice than we did. If you’re on a business trip, I guess this hotel is just fine.

Too bad this place is so neglected, it’s got everything that should make it a great hotel. Someone wash the windows In The elevator, because that’s the point,to see a view, and maybe take down the bug n black soot encrusted lampshades in the sky bar. The sky bar felt like it had it been cleaned in 20 years, There seemed to be some kind of substance on my room floor. Like not soap, or maybe it was soap, it made me want to keep my shoes on. If you waxed your beautiful floors, n washed some windows, it would go a long way. I felt like I was annoyingly interrupting the staff who had better people to talk to when asking for my key. Staff are very noisy, argueing with one another and yelling at each other as they worked. For a newish hotel it feels like it’s on its last legs. The reception staff could not have been more dismissive. Nobody cares if you stay there or not. Everyone is walking around unhappy. The pool no longer looks like those photos, you will not want to hang out there. We moved hotel after one noisy night with people argueing outside our door. Probably guests, did I feel like calling the front desk? Nope...someone take down the lamp over the welcome sign, it’s so dirty and not welcoming at all.we didn’t eat here so can’t comment on it’s food.

The location of the hotel is fine as the bustling centre of Battambang is at walkingdistance. The rooms are cheap and just fine, though decorated without taste. The indoor swimmingpool is located in the dungeons of the building which also serves as a garage, which is exactly what it still looks like. It's dark and there is nowhere to sit or lay down. The rooftop terrace is even worse. It desperatly needs some maintenance and it is realy dirty. You don't want to have dinner there.
