Nice boutique hotel - each room is like a villa with all the necessary comfort for few nights - Jacuzzi and terrace behind in each room. Internet is good working - television too - Green hotel - Pool is very good- the only negative things no breakfast due to covid. Welcome very friendly - little bit more cleaning but its OK
The staff are welcoming and helpful. They can organise trips to all the big attractions and have options for full day trips. We decided to hire our own tuk tuk and they organised that without pushing their own tours on us. The rooms are large and spacious. The swimming pool is the highlight of this place. A great place to sit and unwind. We only spent one night here, but would have happily stayed longer if we were not on a tight schedule.
This pool is so relaxing and water not so cold. Lunch around the pool is the paradise Staff are very friendly and always here to serve you. The room are well equipped and the bath big like a jacuzzi. I recommended that place
There are new high-rise and nice hotels in Battambang, but I prefer this beautiful spot. My wife and I (American couple in early 60s travelling in SE Asia for two months) stayed here 4 nights. The location is a bit out of the old center of town, which is a plus if you ask me. After all, you are a one-dollar 7-minute (and fun) Tuk-Tuk ride away from the walking part of the old town. The Sanctuary is just that - tucked away with beautiful landscaping and a nice pool and restaurant with a very good breakfast. The staff is very friendly and gracious and will do anything to help you hit all the tourist high-spots around Battambang. You just hire a Tuk-Tuk (use one of their English-speaking drivers) and tour around town and some of the incredible surrounding small villages and temples. It is worth three full days here to hit those spots and more. The hotel has a big map on the wall telling all where to go and how - bamboo train, ancient Banaan Temple, Wat Samroung (which became a Kymer Rouge Prison and Killing Field) Drive through several fascinating small villages to Ek Phnom Temple. Also see Wat Kor and the 100-year-old hardwood Asian river-houses on stilts that were common then but very few remain. Attend the wonderful Battambang Circus. This hotel is the perfect spot. Super clean, nice rooms and a really pretty garden-like environment. We really enjoyed it, and we have been staying in 5-star properties like Sofitel. This was really a nice experience and highly recommended. …
My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and cannot fault this hotel. It is quiet , homely , lush and very personal. My wife users a wheelchair and on arrival the hotel gave us a choice of rooms , after one night they allowed us to change rooms as we decided poorly. The smaller room was better suited for my wife. Comfy beds, great shower and easy access. The villa has a lovely clean pool and easy to get in and out , some sun beds and chairs, in the shade or in the sun. The food is of a high standard and a good mix of Khmer and western food. Breakfast has enough choices with eggs made fresh everyday. As this is a family hotel the staff are amazing, helpful and kind. The female chef brings a wonderful joy to breakfast everyday , even the fathers little boy is a joy. Plus point is the hotel offers free filtered water , so bring your reusable bottles. Yes this is a bit out of the way but it is a place to unwind an relax. The hotel will do anything to make your stay the best. Top tip , book the day tours from the hotel , prices are good and the service is first class. …
