The property was well located and close to all the activities we scheduled. The room was clean and checking in was really easy. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but the room had all the amenities we required. However, I asked the property if it'll be possible to check in earlier to which they replied that it can not be arranged beforehand and that the staff will assist us to the best of their abilities when we arrive. We arrived 3 hours before the check-in time. The hotel staff was friendly, but a fee of $5 had to be paid. I don't mind paying a $10 fee, but this could've been communicated beforehand. The property has a really nice swimming pool, but it can only be used until 20:30. Honestly, we rarely spend time at the hotel, but I feel there are better options nearby for the same price.…
The building is very thin wall and floor, surrounding sounds was very noisy, I couldn’t sleep well. I asked receptionist (night shift) to tell please be quiet to other guests (Cambodian Local Tourist) but he said “No problem, Don’t worry”, and he didn’t work any... Swimming pool’s water was slimy too!
I'd rather stay other hotels with lower price for the same or better quality...Only good thing was the location, it's in the centre of the city, 30 sec walking to the market place. There are some other hotels nearby for the lower price and same / better quality
The positives- The location of the hotel is good, being located right near the main marketplace. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The air conditioning worked and there is a lift to 4 floors. The room was generally clean, although the bathmats were grubby, but replaced on request. My expectations were fairly low for the hotel and I was willing to take a chance for the price I paid. I was surprised that it was a bit better than I expected for the price. The negatives- The pool is on the very top floor, the lift doesn't go all the way up. So you must walk up to the final floors via the stairs. If you have any mobility issues, this is a problem. So I was unable to use the pool. For anyone in a wheelchair, or with mobility issues, the rooms and bathrooms are not accessible despite there being a lift. The bathrooms are up one step from the room floor level. The staff spoke very little English which was a little problematic, especially when they tried to get me to pay when we checked out, despite paying in full on before staying. Rooms with balconies don't have a private balcony, but a table outside your door on an outside verandah. We didn't have chairs.…
My husband checked in before me a couple of hours otherwise I would have asked for another room ! Everything about the bathroom is BAD !! The only good thing is the location in the center of town . Moldy , and needs repair ! The room is ok but the worst we have had so far in Cambodia . I expected much better after the reviews . I would not stay again !
