One of main reasons why I booked this hotel was that I read in many reviews that they allow free early check in. When we arrived from Yangon after a whole night bus trip, we were desperate for a nap but the morning shift staff said it was too early to check in at six and he suggested us to watch the sunrise first which sounded like a great idea and promised us that we could check in after 7:30am. Then we rented three ebikes from the hotel and went to see the amazing sunrise. When we got back to hotel at around 8, my nightmare started!! The shift was changed and the day shift guy whose name was * Win Hut refused our early checkin and asked for a 10 USD fee for that. He also said some bullsh*t like he would love to make us happy but the check in time is 2pm even though I showed him those free early check in reviews. My friends paid 10USD to get an early check in so we could take a shower before we went straight to temples. We visited the nearest temples and got back after brunch around 11. My room was still NOT ready because their rule is to clean the rooms one by one even there were NO customers in those rooms!! He made me wait for another hour then. During my waiting, I asked if they could help me book the bus tickets to Mandalay and they said no problem. However, he and his colleagues never remembered that even after my third inquiry! Well, the hotel itself was good especially the pool. Breakfast on the rooftop was also a big plus. BUT because of this arrogant receptionist who knows nothing about management or service , all my good impression became VERY VERY negative!! I wish he could be fired or he is gonna ruin this hotelπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽI will be very willing to tell all my friends NOT to stay in this hotel as long as staff like him exist!!

By the time we arrived, their pool was under maintenance, so they offer to upgrade my room to a bigger one and during the stay, they were willing to help me change the room again (because the AC is not working) in the middle of the night. The room is cute and spacious enough for 2 people to live in, the facilities are ok. But, the WiFi is very weak, we have to go outside the room or go to the lobby to have an adequate WiFi signal. Even from outside of the room, you can not load any pics from facebook so it's very very very weak However, the customer service is excellent. They are willing to help you with anything, rent a bike, book a tour, negotiate with locals and I would especially thank to one of the front desk guy, who was born and raised here and his family owns a clothes shop in the market (i don't know his name). He talks you through everything in Mandalay with all his eagerness and love. The location is great, nearby the downtown of Bagan, which is lively and lovely at night or any time of the day. But also quiet, peaceful to give you a nice sleep. It's also near the main road that link to Old/New Bagan and they put 2 signages at the beginning and end of the road so you can easily find the hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The services of the staff were exceptionally good. They arranged the entire trip around Bagan which was amazing. The food served was quite good as well. Great place for a family vacation. Would strongly recommend it to those coming to Bagan.

We spent three very comfortable days here. Nice rooms, relaxing pool, helpful and friendly staff, and a rooftop breakfast that is a good value for the money. They have e-bicycles for rent, and across the street are several other vendors where you can rent an e-scooter if you prefer not to pedal.

This was our favorite hotel when we stayed in Myanmar. It has a Myanmar style, while all others in Mandalay have a Chinese style, it has a good working air con, they provide soap, shampoo, conditioner - hardly ever see that one, and plenty of towels and water for the day. The staff are very attentive and very friendly, the buffet breakfast was great, with both western and eastern Asian choices, the pool was very handy and chlorinated - I'm glad to know it was clean for this reason, It was located close to a road with many choices in restaurants and a few choices in massage parlors, there are a few souvenir shops nearby, you can rent bicycles and e-bikes from the place. I broke a glass that they wanted to charge me for, but when I mentioned how bad the was, they took off the charge. This was unexpected, but helps in making the choice to stay with them again and to recommend them. Cons: You must pay to rent the bikes, even if you want to only go down the street It is not close enough to get to the temples just on a whim The wifi, like many others mention is horrible - this was our experience throughout the country. The staff helped to tell our bus driver where to drop us off in Mandalay. We did not get the same service in Mandalay when leaving our hotel there, which was the Yuan Sheng hotel. Overall, I recommend this place.
