We booked this hotel from home knowing we would be in Inle Lake for 3-4 days. I waited too long and the poolside rooms were unavailable so we booked one of the less expensive rooms. We arrived by plane roughly at 11 AM, I was not expecting to get a room right away, but our room was clean and ready...

Quite a basic room, and our friends' room was even more dated. We went for the superior rooms and ours had a nice terrace bit in-front of it with deck chairs which was a bonus. The rooms are big and clean, with a TV and safe. It had everything we required. The hotel is well positioned and it is easy...

Mingalar Inn is a family hotel, the woman who is in charge is really nice, helpful and efficient. The hotel has two different areas, the one with the cheap rooms, and the pool area with the good rooms. You can also enjoy the pool area if you stay in the cheap room. We stayed in one of the cheap rooms,...

I was very positively surprised. The staff is professional and helpful. I was impressed with the level of concern for the well-being of the guests. Posters indicate that it might not be safe to eat seafood from the polluted lake and to be safe at night. Breakfast was nice and the pool is a real treat. I had one of...

The staff are all really helpful and friendly and the facilities are great with a really nice pool and poolside. We opted for the cheapest room which was huge and great with a tv, hot shower, fan and safe. A really really...

We booked the old one. Doesnt have AC, only a fan but thats good enough. Very large rooms. Breakfast is also very good en good...

We stayed 4 nights at the Mingalar Inn and it was one of the best hotel we stayed while in Myanmar. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They help you organize activities around the lake. We stayed in the old part of the hotel where the rooms are less new and comfortable (from what I have seen) but they...

From the recent reviews, it looks like your experience might be hit-or-miss. However, we stayed for 3 nights in June and it was lovely. The room was spacious and clean, and overlooked the pool. The huge breakfast was served quickly and cheerfully and the staff lwere incredibly friendly and helpful. The only downside was that internet service was erratic, something...
