I stayed at ViewPoint Lodge for three nights in December. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay: big, nicely decorated room (though ever so slightly beginning to feel a bit tired), excellent service, great breakfast. The lodge organised a boat for a day-trip on the lake with a very reliable guide who did not try to take me to places I didn't...

Had a great stay this December. They created a lovely atmosphere with the fireplace in the common area and the cottages set up over the water. It was really nice as we were greeted by a flock of ducks on the water as we went to our room for the first time. It really set the tone for our stay...

We stayed here two nights in Dec 2016 and enjoyed the premises. The ViewPoint is off the channel, providing a nice atmosphere and private cabin/rooms. The staff was super attentive and helpful, and we were especially helped by Nyi Nyi at the reception. The rooms are well appointed with everything you need. As a nice touch they provide local natural...

Viewpoint Lodge is the most expensive hotel of our trip but certainly the most luxurious. The rooms are, in fact, suites and all have terraces over the water. We liked the central location, making it easy to walk to bars and restaurants in town. The beds are very comfortable, lots of pillows and a mosquito net that the staff put...

The bungalows on the little lake are really sweet. They are well decorated and comfortable. I really liked their sort of traditional "fridge" hidden in the coffee table that keeps drinks cool while not wasting electricity. The hotel is just next to the canal where you get the boats to go visit Inle lake but you don't get any noise...

The lodges are beautiful but do be aware that you are not on Inle lake and the price of the hotel is on par with several well rated hotels in Inle. Being in nyaung shwe is however very convenient so it's a tough choice. The bread basket we had every morning was the best bread we had in Myanmar but...

Great little hotel with great restaurant - which is always busy. It's right on the river so perfect to pick up the boats and the staff were super bright kids with great English. Was really a pleasure and much better than being stuck out on one of the lake hotels. You can walk into town really easily where there is...

We stayed here on a packaged tour, so I am not sure how much it cost or if it represents value for money. We did pay for a massage though, and this most definitely did not represent value for money. We had better massages elsewhere in Myanmar for a faction of the cost. No music, no scented candles or diffusers,...

Very pleasant rooms and surroundings. The only cavil with the accommodation is that not only is there no pool (not a problem - heck, it's got a lake with ducks!) But nowhere to sit outside except cramped space on the room's own terrace in uncomfortable chairs (definitely no sunloungers). Positively, the restaurant is the best in town (most of the...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights during our 6 week tour of Myanmar. The hotel is situated by the side of the busy waterway which leads to Inle Lake. Although noisy due to the boats racing by, we found this just added to the character of the hotel. Our room (308) ,on stilts, was situated at the end...
