We were in Inle Lake and stayed at the Viewpoint Lodge for 4 nights. The hotel has a two story main building and then a series of 'cottages' in the back of the property perched on stilts over a picturesque water garden. Quaint wooden footpaths connect the cottages to the main building and at night they are lit by bamboo...

Nice atmospheric central building housing reception, lounge, bar and dining room with accommodation in bungalows on stilts around a lake. Very comfortable rooms and the sound of ducks quacking everywhere. The locals breed them. We were not as impressed by the dining room as many reviewers. We felt that the menu was limited and overrated. However it is probably the...

Dropped in for lunch on our way to our stay by the Inle Lake as part of our Myanmar tour. What an amazing place and what an excellent meal. Fixed lunch menu but our first taste of green tomato salad – delicious. And there was also an avocado salad as well as chicken and fish in banana leaves to get...

Wonderful hotel situated on an offshoot of the lake. Very convenient for taking a boat. The hotel can arrange this for you at a very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and eager to talk especially the bar tender :). Breakfast is beautifully presented on a long tail boat platter giving you the feel of a mini personal buffet.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but had drinks there on 3 occasions and ate in the restaurant one evening. The place has a lovely atmosphere, with well priced, premium drinks. The restaurant offers a modern/swiss twist on Shan food. The food was beautifully presented and the service excellent (both in the restaurant and the bar.) We tried one of...

Expensive - so obviously that has to be taken into account - but really top notch place to stay. Gorgeous rooms, outstanding, helpful staff. Good meals. Helpful arranging activities and transportation. Recommended.

This is a quirky hotel. It is located on a triangular site where two roads join before going over the busy bridge at the south end of the village Nyaung Shwe. Behind the main building there is lagoon with two rows of bungalows on stilts. There are two rooms per bungalow. Boardwalks over the water give access to the rooms....

The rooms are very nicely decorated, the scenery is just beautiful, the staff very helpful, polite and smiling -they came in our room while we were out for an afternoon walk to make sure our windows are closed and the room sprayed with mosquito repellent..very thoughtful touch, well done! Water & complimentary fruit replenished every day. They also helped us...

I stayed here for one night after doing a two night trek and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The staff was all friendly and helpful, the room was perfect, and the welcome glass of wine was an added bonus! Make sure you don't miss the included breakfast either - I felt like a queen!

My best friend and I stayed 2 nights in this hotel and we both really liked it. It is right next to a jetty and we got dropped off at the hotel so no need for taxis. Check in was very smooth and they even gave us a complimentary welcome drink. The lodge itself was very spacious and tastefully decorated....
