Staying in a room on stilts over water is always an adventure. The setting is beautiful with the sun setting each night on the mountains across the lake. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious and if you have extra time you can walk around the nearby villages and hills.

I just love this place from the first sight. We were there during the low season so water level was low, flowers were not there but we were still very much impressed. The lake view from our room is just spectacular. The staff was super helpful. One lady even help me make up with thanaka. Sunset can be watched at... More

We stayed at the Myanmar Treasure Inle Lake for two nights in a lake view room. The setting of the hotel on the lake is perfect. It is set back just enough so that local boat traffic noise is at a minimum and the view is wonderful. The room was great, and the outside shower was fantastic!!! The breakfast had... More

I am very sorry to say this property did not live up to expectations. It is extremely beautiful to look at but stopped there for us. We stayed in chalet 222 which in itself was nice (loads of teak and on stilts over a lagoon -unfortunately dry) but Myanmar was in the grip of a heat wave and 40 degree... More

Situated on the Inle Lake, which is a fascinating part of Myanmar, with access by long boat. Accommodation in chalet style huts on stilts with good size accommodation BUT NO air-conditioning which with temperatures in the 90 degrees plus makes for uncomfortable sleeping. The hotels is best described as interestingly quirky rather than 4 or 5 star. Food is OK... More

We loved the place. It is very pretty, on the luxury side of it considering you are on a wooden hut on stilt above water. Being the beginning of the hot season ( meaning low level of water), we were very few in the hotel so it was peaceful and quiet. The motor boats passing by are also relatively far... More

The rooms are wooden houses on stilts. The 100's face the lake for the sunset, the 200's face the fields, mountains and are good for viewing sunsets, the 300's are in the middle. The rooms are provided with mosquito nets, and it is essential to wear insect repellent in the evening. The birds are spectacular. I enjoyed the spa and... More

We stayed three nights at Myanmar Treasure Resort. Room were pretty cleans, staff were very friendly; dinner options were very nice and the food tarsier great. During the early night, the rooms get warm since no A/c and hence a rating of 4. Overall would still recommend the resort in the beautiful Inle Lake in myanmar

This is not a budget hotel, but it's worth it after a day riding the boats sightseeing. The rooms are spacious, with balconies and outdoor showers. There is mosquito netting over the bed, which is essential here. No air-conditioning, but it's not necessary, as it cools off in the night and each room has a large fan and screened windows....
