This was another place made up of rustic cottages. There were about 20 cottages that were a 1-min walk opposite the reception, and another 8 or 10 cottages behind the reception. Location is across the river from the town, just beside a local village of about 20 or 30 houses. You could drive a long way from town or use the boat for the short 5-minute crossing. The cottage was spacious enough. Wifi signal was strong in my cottage; not sure if it was because i was just opposite the reception. Amenities were provided in environmentally friendly packages or ceramic pots instead of plastic bottles. They placed a vase of beautiful jasmine flowers which left a really nice scent in my room on the first night. There was a patio outside each cottage with a bench overlooking the river where you can enjoy the sunset. Staff were friendly and spoke decent English. Didn't get her name, but the young lady at the reception was really friendly and helpful. There was no other place to eat near the hotel so dinner on both nights was there and the restaurant service was prompt even if they had to specially whip up whatever i ordered. I was the only guest at the hotel for 2 nights so i felt kinda bad that they all had to standby for me. The only minor issue i had was that there were (dead) cockroaches the 2 nights i was there. The hotel probably put roach poison somewhere and I think the gully trap cover probably had holes large enough for the roaches to crawl out from. The first night the dude in my toilet promptly flipped onto its back when i entered the toilet. Cue my panicked call to the reception and 2 guys came to remove it very quickly. The next morning there was one already on its back in the toilet so i left it there for housekeeping. Ditto the next morning. The good thing is they were all dead and not alive. Cockroaches aside, this was a relaxing and peaceful hotel to stay in.

We spent 3 nights at this resort and just loved it. The staff were happy to help in any way and with wide smiles, food was good (even though we were the only guests), walking around the area was a delight also. The room was a large cabin-type bldg with much room and an outside patio overlooking the river. I think it is nice that it is set in the countryside and not in the centre of town. Would not hesitate to return here.

I stayed at Riverside@Hsipaw Resort belonging to Amata group for 2 nights. It is small charming bungalow style accommodation located 1 minute boat ride from Hsipaw City centre.Even though we were here in Myanmar ,,Green=Low season" and were here as the only guests everything was working normally. The restaurant offered set breakfast and set dinner and even though the selection was limited the food was excellent. I also tried 60 min traditional Shan massage and was awesome. The price of USD 20 was fair enough. The laundry was done professionally and way really cheap. The only problem was with the wifi which was very slow but I experienced it all around Myanmar so don't complain. The best about my stay was a staff.Always smilling and trying their best to provide quality service.Thank you all for making my stay so enjoyable!!!

It was a great time my stay at River side@Hsipaw Resort. I truly recommend of the place which is stayed beside famous Duhtawaddy river. All their rooms are bungalow type and all are large, quiet and very safe. One things, it stayed a little far from city center area but quiet place for traveler. The hotel can arrange transportation service, trekking services too. The hotel restaurant are good and can get variety of menus for lunch & dinner. I really like their bathroom which is very wide and all bathroom amenities are full, hot & cold shower, but no bath-tub. All the staffs are friendly and very warm. Breakfast is very nice and you can taste about shan traditional foods also. I can say about the place. Would come again.

We’ve visited the hotel Riverside @ Hsipaw Resort which seems to be part of Hsipaw Resort. Its a very good hotel, along the river with a free boat service to bring acros. The rooms are excellent and very convenient, clean, good bed, excellent bathroom and very friendly and helpfull staff!! Breakfast is great as well the food in the restaurant for diner! Even in low season, we were the only guests, there is a very good service and all is open and available. The staff also helped us booking transport to our next destination (Inle lake). The only point to improve is the internet connection/ wifi. Nevertheless a great place to stay!!
