Agree with previous statements about the overpriced restaurant with bad food, bad lighting, inconsistent internet, and unclean sheets. That said, it is far more quiet than the hotels right in the city and the air conditioning is good. About a ten minute tuktuk ride to the city. Price is pretty good for the quality, we paid 20000 kyat for a...

For $20 US, the residence is very average. The location is away from the town, too far to walk to. As a result, you have to buy the expensive food at the hotel. The outside and gardens have a nice Chinese style. The air con worked fine but the rooms and beds weren't the cleanest nor very well lit. The...

Good place to stay away from the main road traffic. Rooms are clean, the better ones are in the "new" building, breakfast only toast or rice. We paid 30$ for the new room! Friendly and of course not a boutique Hotel but as stop over to golden rock or back to airport yangoon nice opportunity. Taxi to yangoon 30$

Don't go here! Stayed one night here( couldn't get out quick enough!) it was filthy! There was blood stains on the sheets, holes in the sheets. Bathroom was disgusting. Staff weren't helpful nor rude.. Location isn't great, as not that close to the town and lighting is very bad (as it tends to be all over Myanmar)coming back up from...

This hotel, described in the Lonely Planet, as a new hotel, looks nice from the outside. However, rooms are dirty, washrooms are dirty, and the bedding had not been changed from the former guests when we checked in. The bed linen were dirty and there was pubic hair on them. We had looked at two rooms, both were dirty. As we...

Stayed here one night on the way back to Rangon after a visit to the golden rock. Taken there by a tout from the bus station. Room was filthy with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, promised 24 hour air conditioning went on and off all night, no hot water and filthy bathroom. Owner tried to fob off an old 5$...

This town is a stop on the way to Kyaiktiyo (Golden Rock) or perhaps Mandalay. The hotel is fairly basic but clean, has air conditioning and breakfast included. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to food and beer.
