The incredible view from Tvarevets facing room was in total contrast with room aspect, which, even if very clean, showsl ack of upgrade in last 10 years. With some update in room furniture and bathroom ( maybe a bigger shower instead of that uncomfortable bathtub., this hotel can be a real four star location. If they will update also spa area and breahfast diversity and impove the service in the restaurant can be even a five star hotel. Those negative aspects are compensated by quality of reception staff and cleaning.

The hotel has a really good location - in the old centre of Veliko Turnovo. The view to the Tsarevets fortress is absolutely fantastic! The room we were in, was clean and quite spacious. You should book a room with a view to the fortress. The food in the restaurant is very delicious and all the staff is very friendly. The SPA is good, there is sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool. The hotel has a free parking which is also a plus. Next time we are in town, we would definitely stay here again.

Located in the oldest part of town, this hotel features beautiful views to the surrounding hills (you have to ask for the views!), a gorgeous breakfast, a restaurant and a bar. Friendly and efficient service and supreme cleanliness make it a clear winner.

Reception is friendly and unobtrusive. The room was huge! Though a little tired compared to some of the other rooms we stayed in, the room had no competition for the view out the window. We did not know about the weekly lightshow at the fort, and were treated to a fantastic view of it from the room. The main sights and restaurants are minutes away on foot, and there's parking available in front of the hotel or nearby up the street.

We booked 2 nights at Yantra hotel and we liked it so much that we booked another night. I have nothing to complain about, everything was very good, the staff is kind, the rooms are big, it was cleaned every day, the breakfast was very generous. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the center and you can walk to most of the tourist attractions. There is also an elevator with a panoramic view to Tsarevets. You can park in the front of the hotel and there are surveillance cameras. We will definitely come back next year. Thanks Yantra Hotel !

We stayed here in June as part of a tour. The hotel is not too far from town and does have lovely views. When we checked in we had to leave our passports with reception for a while to enable checkin processes to be done - and we were given handcream! The rooms and bathrooms were very dated. We were told that there was an extra charge to use the pool - we went to have a look and were escorted there to ensure we didn’t use it without paying. Breakfast was basic. There is a panoramic lift but you need to go up a flight of stairs to access it. Otherwise there is a normal lift but there can be a wait for that one. I’m not sure what other options there are here to be honest!!

Very centrally located hotel in Veliko Tărnovo. Staff was friendly. Room was very large and had an amazing view of the fortress. Breakfast was very good, many options. Rooms were very clean. They pushed two twin beds together to make a double bed, but the beds kept separating apart which meant a big gap in between. Parking was included and located right in front of hotel. Overall a great stay in Veliko Tărnovo.

Windows were closing inefficiently, with gap all around. You could here all the outside traffic during the night (trains+trucks). Good, varied breakfast. Heated pool and jacuzzi, but only 1 shower (very outdated) for men and 1 for women, far from the pool, in the locker room. Additional parking spots in a compound 400m away; the bell boy may park the car for you or can drive you there (2min). But in the afternoon it is in the sun, so my car was overheated. A lot of cleaning stuff, doing their job well, including outside the hotel.

Stayed here for one night recently. Very large room that included a twin bed which I pushed together, a table with 2 very comfortable chairs, mini bar, tv, dressing gown and toiletries (no face cloth). Not enough toilet paper was given though and I ran out. Bathroom contained s bath with a shower, a large sink and a toilet. Hotel includes a lovely gift shop, although the souvenir shop opposite is cheaper (check out the rose - as in the flower rose - wine. So yummy!). I had an evening meal and breakfast here, both of shich were tasty. The views at the back of the hotel are stunning (the front of the hotel faces the street), so ask for a room that faces the back if you can (it should also be quieter). The lift has a panoramic view, although there are stairs if you don’t like lifts. The staff are friendly here. I would stay here again.…

Wonderful hotel! There are rooms overlooking Tsarevets and the Samovod Bazaar. The pool is great with warm and pleasant water and a jacuzzi to it. The food is delicious. Unusual! I want to visit again!
