A great hotel even though a lot of activities were closed, didn’t read small print on TUI page, there was still plenty to do. The hotel Manager got them to lay a table and free champagne for my and I 40th wedding anniversary. FOOD A bit repetitive but again that’s what we expected, what was there was very nice, ROOMS I found beds a bit hard but rooms were bigger than expected, Overall expierance was good but Bulgarian 5* is British 3-4 star

Food tastefull and fully fine during our stay. Especially two guys in back restaurant (where theme food is served) were awesome. :-) Also there is always smaller queue for pancakes in the morning. Treat them well and they will always have fresh and ot pancakes for you! :-) Rooms are fully fine, only air condition should be desinfected and dust removed after end of season. Hotel is ideally located, as you are not in middle of Sunny beach, but literally 10 minutes walk out of it or Old Nessebar city. Staff was super nice all the time, if there was any issue, it was sorted basically on-demand (including dead lock on room doors, which was changed in 30 minutes). Pools in hotel area are paradise for kids and when they get bored, there is about 10 other attraction to use / you can visit another aquaparks in city around. Animators were actively hunting people all around day to help them enjoy stay. Regarding sea and beach, yes sand is sligthly different colour then usually. What was more sad was amount of litter in sand, especially cigarette buts. Sea was full on agea, but thats expectable in middle of August, when sea is basically 28°C. So if anyone will ask, if I will go again? I will say yes, but not because of sea and beach or I will go in earlier term (June, start of July). Place is located in middle of all other places, so can spend day relaxing, day by trip and repeat till end of vacation. :-) What can be done better? - clean and disinfect aircondition - clean the beach and agae from sea - completely remove ashtrays from food area and adjent sitting to it, so none will smoke under you nose during bf, lunch or dinner

Dear KozyVen, Thank you for your stay at Sol Nessebar Palace, as well as for your feedback. We really appreciate you liked almost every aspect of our services: the huge variety of food options, the well-sized rooms, the ideal location near to Old Nessebar, the helpful staff, sorting out issues (if any) quickly and effectively. "Paradise for kids" is the expression we liked the most: animation team and attractions all the time. Enjoying a holiday in a nice intact nature goes together with the responsibility to keep an eye on correct littering, but if it is not the case the concessioner takes responsibility for cleaning the beach. As per the cleaning and disinfection of the air conditioning it is done as per the special regulations which are in force nowadays, under the new normal. Thank you again for everything and greetings from all of us! Looking forward to welcoming you soon again, Best regards, Janina Ninova, Quality Manager Sol Nessebar Resort

Me and my boyfriend is visiting with our two small kids. On the third day my boyfriend and son got sick with what apears to be food poisoning. We talked to four members of the staff, and no one toke it seriously. They said that was nothing wrong with the food. The food does not taste well, the “spa” that contains sauna, steam and so on is a joke. No heat, no water to drink, no aroma in the “aromatherapy steam” and lockers so old that they cant close. Do not expect smiles from the staff or a service that match a five star hotel. That being said the view is amazing, the rooms are just fine and there is a lot of fun activities for the kids.

Dear Permile robrahn, Thank you for choosing us. We appreciate the time you have taken to write your review. Said that, we also would like to inform you that in terms of food safety and health security, we have very strict procedures and standards that help us always keep close control of the food quality. The hotel is audited on a regular basis by an external company. We can guarantee that our Health & Safety protocol meets all the standards of the local and European laws regarding food safety and our staff are all carefully trained to international standards in food handling. Food, water and surface samples are periodically tested by labs, and till that very moment, there are no deviations. All facilities in the relax centre Rose are at the guests’ disposal with a variety of aromas of essential oils our country is so famous with, but we thank you for the feedback regarding the lockers – they are going to be replaced next week. We all miss the normal face-to-face contact with our guests – smiles behind the masks are hardly recognisable We are happy you liked the views and the fun activities for the kids. Wishing you all the best, Best regards, Janina Ninova Quality Manager Sol Nessebar Resort

Martin Herna, Česká Republika👍 Sol Nessebar Palace, I can only recommend. The hotel is beautiful, clean and the staff is always friendly. The hotel is an excellent choice for a family holiday. My biggest compliment is for the restaurant, no food was repeated during the whole week. whatever i chose was very tasty… Thank you to the whole staff for a wonderful holiday. Travelled by car, the parking is paid and they don't have enough parking space for the guests. Angry from the arrival-the parking security didn't want to let us stop our car infront of the entrance to take out luggage out of the car... Adviced us to park in the next hotel or on the street with no desigion for how to transfer our stuff to the hotel... No help or picollo from the hotel for more than 15 minutes-we didn't wait more, transfered our luggage by hand, from the main street, with a 3-years old child.. The sunbeds on the beach terrace are not clean, in the evening drunck guests shouting around the pool all night, no actions from the hotel taken. The Music for the Kids disco, way too loud even for us... There are no hotel sunbeds on the beach and the sand on the area is dirty.. The pool water looks dirty. Positive - The food was ok, could be better. The Room was clean and big. Beautiful seaview. Should take care better for your guests, I wouldn't visit again.

Dear Ninai586, Thank you for choosing us, as well as for your feedback. Please stay assured that we have found a solution to the parking issue. We would like to offer to you our deep regrets and apologies regarding parking staff attitude, who are also experiencing difficulties in this matter, too. They have undergone a special training in guest service culture. As per the sand at the beach its color is greyisch, as it contains a lot of iron and makes it even healthier for the body. Your comment regarding this inspires us to inform our guests about it, as it is important and may attract more customers to visit us; special thanks for this. Let me also give feedback regarding pool cleaning - a dedicated company takes good care of the water quality taking water samples three times per day and handling the water accordingly, so be sure that it is in the norms at all times. Your satisfaction regarding the food, the room with breathtaking views and indefectible cleaning let us hope that you would reconsider your opinion and visit us again next year. Wishing you all the best, Kind regards, Janina Ninova, Quality Manager Sol Nessebar Resort

The chaos started with our arrival. We were told beforehand that there will be payed parking provided, yet when we went to check-in we were told that we can only park on some dirt road, surrounded by mosquito filled bushes nearby. The chaos continued in the endless line for the elevators, filled with screaming/crying children. Every other resident is below 5 years of age, so going there as a couple is highly not advisable. Food was rather bland. Some seafood and meat was nicely done and fresh. Eggs tasted like saltless rubber. Alcoholic beverages were extremely diluted with water. The alcohol in the cocktails that were all-inclusive, was the cheapest brand in the country. I have only seen passed out drunks on the sidewalk drink that kind of rubbing alcohol labelled as 'Rum'. All-inclusive drinks stop at 11 pm. My favourite activity was the fight over paninis at 11 am. Or any other food that is provided at the snack bars. Entitled parents yell at the poor employees, begging to have their 'famished' children fed. Some customers also thought that the food service employees were customer support. As if the lady making sandwiches at the beach can resolve the lack of parking spaces. Rooms and pool were clean. Staff were polite.

Very nice, well organized and perfectly managed hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and well furnished. Coffee points and water on every floor. The food in the restaurant was delicious, freshly prepared, with excellent ingredients and diverse: satisfied for every taste. Everywhere the staff was polite and professional. The only thing was the bad weather (rain and low temperatures). Even when it is rainy, you can find what to do. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a nice spa center. The animation team is perfect - these girls and boys organize a good entertainment not just for the kids. The old town of Nessebar is only 4 km far from the hotel. So, despite the rain, it was a nice stay.

THE LOBBY BAR CLOSES AT 23:00 for all inclussive guests and 24:00 for the night!!! Not acceptable for a 5 stars hotel. DISASTER MANAGEMENT!!! We had an incident with a large group of more than 10 persons from Poland. We were 2 adults and a child. These people sorrounded us with their sunbeds. When I asked one of them not to actually drop nervously the sunbed less than 1 meter from me, the storm started. Mocking us, talking bad to us and much more, having of course the advantage of being 5-6 big mouths, man and women. They played ball in the sunbeds area and, of course, they accidentally hit my wife in the head from the back while she was seating quietly on the sunbed. They were also listening to loud music on a woofer, dancing and shouting to music. Maybe some people agree to this beahaviour, I think it is innappropriate for a 5 star hotel's sunbeds area. THE MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE CAME ONLY WHEN I THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE. THE MANGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE DID NOT RECOMMEND HIMSELF. HE SAID HIS NAME ONLY AFTER I ASKED HIM. THE MANGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE WAS DRESSED LIKE GOING OUT IN THE STREET, POOR JEANS AND T SHIRT. OH, HE ALSO HAD FOOD IN HIS TEETH WHEN TALKING TO ME AND SMILING ARROGANTLY. HE TOLD ME THAT LISTENING TO MUSIC ON A WOOFER AND PLAYING WITH A BALL IN THE SUNBEDS AREA IS NOT PROHIBITED. WHAAAAT !!!!!???? HIS BIGGEST PROBLEM WAS WHY WAS I RECORDING THE DISCUSSION WITH MY PHONE, FACT THAT MADE THE POLISH PEOPLE ANGRY AND VIOLENT AGAINST ME, WHILE THE HOTEL SECURITY WAS JUST LOOKING. I HAVE THE RIGHT TO RECORD ANYTHING REGARDING MY OWN PERSON IN A PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SPACE AND PHONE RECORDING IS NOT PROHIBITED AROUND THE HOTEL GROUNDS. Poor food, 3 stars hotel. Only the italian restaurant meets the expectations of a 4-5 star hotel. The aqua park is decent. But they had a horrible program. Not all the slides were working in the same time. Two of them were working only 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon. A lot of the main restaurant staff did not speak or understand english. Very curious, because only they served the food, considering the coronavirus regulations. This caused misunderstanings, stress and loss of time. Staff is mainly polite though. Drinks are reasonable as taste. The espresso coffee from the lobby is different from the main restaurant coffee and from the poll bar coffee. The taste would be in this order. Probably because people consume from the pool bar the most. It is a real shame. One old man from the pool bar has to be asked every time repetedly to pt more sugar on the donuts or shrimps in the paella he is serving. An he is looking very strange, troubled and quite angry at you when you ask him. Did his money pay for the guests' vacation? What a shame. The mexican bar is serving sushi and miso soup !!! Never heard of this before, eating japanese food on spanish music. An it is the worst sushi and miso ever tasted. I guarantee. Saw many guests just throwing it away after tasting. The mexican bar staff is very nice. An the sangria is quite good. Main restaurant staff is just too slow in cleaning tables, especially in the morning. Rooms are big and clean, but the balconies are separated only partially, with decorative glass. You can hear and see people from neighbour rooms. Really no acceptable for 5 stars. Animation is decent, reasonable shows an attitude. Only the landscape is 5 stars in my opinion. Like going from mountains to teh sea. We liked this a lot.

I travelled to this place as I love going to Melia hotels and i still have to admit it was a very nice stay. Again, my first time in this hotel was 8 years ago when my parents booked me a stay but overall nothing changed. The hotel is a very nice place for couples, and has a ton of attractions for kids, something I have seen in all Melia hotels. You have to visit this hotel if you're going to Nessebar.
