My daughter and I stayed here for a week. The hotel is small and friendly, not without old-fashioned charm, I quite liked the ambiance. On the plus side it has a view of the old fortress overlooking the sea, and there are plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. (But see note below). Also a small supermarket one street away and an ice cream kiosk next door. The shower was piping hot, the air con worked, staff were friendly and helpful with info. Clean fairly comfortable beds. Negative points: My daughter is quite good with tech gadgets but neither of us could figure out the Bulgarian flat screen TV. All we could manage was a blue screen showing the names of the channels and a channel menu. It wasn't a major issue as I only wanted an English news channel. The coffee machine broke down twice, and orange juice ran out on day 5. Cooked breakfast options were limited - precooked boiled eggs or scrambled egg twice, smallish bits of precooked bacon three times - but this was often either very fatty or very gristly. The continental Bulgarian style cold options were quite nice - cereals, local yogurt, packaged choc croissants and some small cakes and biscuits featured. Along with delicious salty feta and small mixed olives, fresh tomatoes and cucumber, plus cold meats and salami, pates, breads, and various fresh fruits. I saw a few teas, plus two kinds of jam portions and honey. Our twin room (with a sea view - just!) was very small - one chair squeezed into a corner. Maybe just enough room to swing a mouse. The toilet was a small wet room so we needed to use the toilet before the floor beside the pedestal got soaked... And there was no plug for the sink. Overall it was ok, and we did enjoy staying in a traditional hotel rather than a modern high rise soulless block. The location was very good, five minutes walk to the centre of the old town, only ten minutes walk to the bus and taxi stop at the small harbours. NOTE: the restaurant "Seasons" bistro on the terrace directly opposite the hotel is not part of the Victoria. I went in once for a drink but was ignored so I left. When I checked reviews the bistro scored very low - poor service and poor value for money. T

Absolutely do not recommend eating at Bistro seasons which is the restaurant for this hotel. Cold food. 2 meals arrived together then we had to wait for the other 2 meals for quite some time that the first 2 had nearly finished theirs! Chips were cold, there was no one to speak to, no one asked if the food was ok. Rude staff man and woman and wouldn’t allow us to pay by card for a very overpriced meal yet we were never told we had to pay by cash on entering or when we asked for the bill

This is a wonderful little gem of a hotel in old Town Nessebar. We stayed in Room 24 overlooking the bay, st vlas and sunny beach. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Near to everything in the old town, plenty of place to eat at reasonable prices. Would we stay there again, most definitely.

We had book this hotel 2019 but due to covid 19 we couldn't make it until now, we arrived Saturday 25th June 2022. What a wonderful hotel, the staff are excellent and service is second to none. Rooms are clean and tidy, with attentive maids. We would recommend the amazing continental breakfast which is laid out fresh every morning. Perfect local to explore the old nessebar town, and take in the sites, bars and restaurants.

A beautiful hotel with the best view,is located near the sea and from there you can see all the golden sand resort. The staff of the hotel are very friendly and very hospitable. The breakfast is just like in the pictures, very good and fresh. You can stay a hole day in the balcony and you will not regret it! I recommend this hotel and his staff! Great job!

The restaurant was great. The beds are very comfortable, the free WiFi was so useful and the bathroom was nice. It was easy to find the hotel and the view is amazing. The parking was close and nearby the hotel there are also great sights to visit. Great trip!

The pluses: The location is great, the view from the room is gorgeous, the staff is friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Overall was a good stay, I would come back here again. The minuses: The wifi is free only in the reception area, if you want wifi in the room you have to pay extra for it. Breakfast could be better, more choices as well.

We know Old Nessebar well and it's the primary reason that we have visited Sunny beach 3 times. This year we decided to spend our last few days there and it was a wonderful psychological boost as I hate the end of a holiday. We wanted BnB with a sea view balcony and at €40 per night Hotel Victoria was top of our list after a friend had stayed there. The email booking process went well and we paid before arrival to ensure we weren't bounced. We arrived by taxi which eventually got through the traffic barrier despite not having the correct permit. We were on the third floor with no.lift but the receptionist/manager Boris did offer to help with bags. The rooftop apartment was spacious and clean. The balcony delivered stunning views across the bay, glorious sunrises and a dark enough sky to see more stars at night than we are used to. The balcony was shared with an adjacent apartment with a low fence but it didn't cause too many privacy issues.  If you are two couples wanting to stay beside each other this arrangement would be ideal. Breakfast started at 8am not 7:30 as was mentioned in a phone call. Breakfast wasn't to our taste - bad bacon, poor coffee and no brown bread - but local bakeries opened at 7:30am (double usual price, sold out by 9am) and there's two convenience stores with 100m so it was easy to workaround. We brought our own extension lead with USB outlets, we didn't buy room WiFi because EU Roaming is free, we brought our own kettle and coffee. Biggest negative for us was the creaky bed with hard wooden edging.  If you have a light sleeping partner and need to use the bathroom during the night this could be an issue.  Sounds a bit negative so far but we loved our stay and would gladly return.  A similar room/view in Amsterdam doesn't exist and we have paid €135 for a worse sea view/balcony experience at Amsterdam on Sea (Zandvoort). Totally silent when we were there. We did see some fireworks over SB but could hardly hear them despite the wind always being from that direction, maybe it's noisier when Cocoa Beach nightclub is open. A thoroughly enjoyable good value stay. Thank you Boris. PS the bar in front of the hotel has a lovely view but didn't have local bottled beer. We preferred St George's bar 50m down the hill.

We arrived by bus from Varna. Our hotel was relatively easy to find - just walk next to the sea. Our corner room was spotless. Our room looked out on the Black Sea. Amazing sunset. The gentleman at reception was friendly, and made us feel special. Breakfast was adequate. The only negative is that they do not have a lock-up facilities for luggage (we check out early, but only collected our luggage in the afternoon), our luggage was placed in a communal area next to the toilets.

The view is spectacular and so we went to the restaurant. When we asked whether the anchovy-type fish was fresh the answer was affirmative. Also, we were told that it would only take 15 minutes to get our order. We waited for more than an hour and the fish was frozen. Definitely not value for money! The service was not good at all.
