The hotel is old but ok. Pretty close to the gondola and the food was ok. The employees of the hotel do not speak a language other than Bulgarian and it is very difficult to talk with them or to ask them for something. The room was clean.

Didn’t enjoy this hotel. Our rooms were never cleaned and the bathroom always stank of sewage. Even if we left the fan on and left the room the smell never went away. Our towels were never changed, the hotel allows dogs in all rooms which adds to the weird smells. The breakfast is alright.

The rooms are extremely thin walled. You can hear conversations, moving, running, children, everything. The staff are very rude, unhelpful and impatient. When checking in we weren’t greeted with a smile. Don’t work in a hotel if you’re going to be miserable- we asked for the WiFi and instead of telling us she pointed to a board and when I couldn’t see she got annoyed and impatient and just told us. We tried to order room service on our first night as I was so tired after travelling I didn’t want to eat out - don’t do it. It’s hassle. We rang the number for room service and when we asked they hung up the phone- so we tried calling the bar, no answer, tried reception, no answer. So we went to reception and the man didn’t know what room service was- even though they have a room service menu- and sent us to the bar, we asked the bar man for room service and he sent us back to reception, who sent us back to the bar and then they spoke and the bar man agreed to do it- we then picked up a menu to show them as they didn’t know what a margarita pizza was and when the stack of menus fell over, the man just huffed and pointed at it - as if we were going to leave it like that? The room service then came and it was not good- I had a toastie with ham and cheese and chips - it was all cold. The toastie was missing a section so I only have 3/4 of a sandwich- the cheese was hard and cold - the pizza was very nice and chips were ok- the breakfast is awful- there is nothing there for someone that wants a normal cuppa and a nice breakfast - they served sausage rolls, nuts, salad, pasta, potatoes and apples- the only thing that was breakfast was a boiled egg and toast. The room doesn’t have tea or coffee or even a kettle. The room itself (we had a triple superior room) is lovely- the bathroom is very small and we didn’t have any toilet paper when we arrived, and there is a metal bar on the floor going in which I have tripped over a lot and almost smacked my head open on the toilet as there’s no sign for it nor is it highlighted. Tv is small but decent- there is a fridge which is nice and lots of room for clothes and stuff. The lobby and bar area are pretty. But again - there are kids constantly running up and down the halls yelling and the walls are very thin, I was kept up all night by a baby crying, people coming back to their rooms, a tv, people talking in the other room, the people above walking around at 2 am, someone playing music next door. We have a nice balcony in our room but there is no heating or anything you can adjust so I was very cold through the night but they give extra blankets. All in all - nice room, great location as you can walk to the bars, shops and slopes but everything else is not good at all.

Good choice for visiting Borovets and going to Musala peak. The hotel is too big to provide a special service, but it is not bad. The breakfast was very satisfying - it was a buffet. There was a wedding the day we check-in and we fear that it will be too noise, but isolation of the hotel was very good!

Don’t consider going to this hotel! Some of the staff is very unfriendly and inpolite, the hotel policy is that in the bar you can not pay on your room or with credit card ONLY CASH. So if you want to drink sth with you dinner make sure you have their bulgarian lev money. Other thing is that in the room facilities it says that there is hairdryer with is false! They have two hairdryers for the whole hotel and you can have it on demand. So before you come back from skiing with your children book a hairdryer in advance 😡 the balcony door was broken and cold air from outside was rushing in the room. Old and broken bed. Spend your money in some other hotel!
