We weren't impressed at the begining, but it turned out to be good place to stay. The food in the restaurant was exellent and the staff at the hotel was really kind to us speaking fluent english. On top of that we paid only 30 pounds(50 euros) for large double room facing the sea.The hotel is located virtualy on the beach so the view is gorgeous.A bit noisy though.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was large, immaculate and had a delightful balcony with sea views.

Situated just back from the sea front, close to bars & restaurants and the harbour.

Slight negative is that parking is very restricted & breakfast a bit odd!

Very bad expirience with this hotel! I asked them to make a reservation! They told me to make a deposit, of 30% of Total amount. But a bank transfer will cost a bank charge of 25 euro , half of room cost per nigt.
They told me to make reservation trough booking.com, without knowing if they have availability on this date and they do not have.
After telling them again the problem they wished me a nice day!!!

The hotel is clean, maintained with friendly staff. The beach and promenade are just a step away. We found out that there are new beds and that made the stay even more pleasant. In the room there was a kettle with hot water, several coffees and tea. The mini bar cools wonderfully in this heat.

Beautiful location, beach and seafront, contemporary decorated rooms, in pleasant colors. Excellent bed and cleanliness.

I have been coming back for a long time with pleasure and because it respects the standard, I recommend them to come back with breakfast, it was excellent

The Hotel, three star, opened in september 2005 an it looked like it needed already a thorough renovation. Our room was facing the sea. We could not leave the windows opened since it faced the roof of a hotel with a chimney and the smoke of it entered our room. The airconditiong was just above our bed and as a consequence there was cold air blowing on our heads. Since we could not leave the window open because of the smoke we were obliged to sleep with the windows closed and without air-conditioning...In addition, there was a loud disco not far from the hotel which lasted until 5 am. After a sleepness night and an on top an appalling breakfast we left the hotel (we booked for three nights). The hotel did not want to refund us but we preferred to loose money rather than staying in that place.

We were delighted with our stay there. We had a studio with a splendid view of the sea, on the third floor. Also, very nice people, unfortunatelly not all fluent in English. The breakfast, however, is not one of the strong points of this hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is located 2 minutes walking from the beach, 7 minutes from the Queen Mary's Palace & Botanical Garden and 5 minutes from the centre and seaside restaurants & bars. The room we stayed in was spacious, with a great sea view and a nice balcony to enjoy it. It was clean and the staff very helpful. I didn't go to breakfast but there is a super market in the vicinity where I could buy whatever I wanted to eat. In general Balcik is a lovely place, with a nice view over the sea, good food and affordable prices.
