The hotel is quite ok - it is good value for money, the location is close to the centre (though not in the best neighbourhood), breakfast is ok, the rooms are ok..
Wifi was very slow, and sometimes not working.
My family and I stayed here. It is a great hotel. The service is excellent. The breakfat was amazing. The rooms were always extremely cleaned. The only thing was that at night, its not a good place to be out, it is a bit dangerous....More

I have stayed twice in this hotel because he is not expensive, clean and near to the center. He is a nice option, nothing more than that. An honest room, honest breakfast. Have parking. He is in an unsafe street in the night, but near...More
I have stayed at San Juan Hotel a couple of times in the past few years when I visited Sao Paulo. It offers a great convenient downtown location, just a few steps away from Republica metro station as well as the express bus to/from Sao...More
Part of the historical center of São Paulo, República was once a fancy residential area. República Square holds a craft and food fair every weekend, right by the subway entrance. Nearby, one of the neighborhood’s main attractions is the Italian Building, where you can see the city from the 42nd floor. The Copan Building also deserves a close look, with 1,160 apartments and a huge floor area that inspired
filmmakers and other artists. To get the feeling of São Paulo in the beginning of the 1900s, visit the Municipal Theatre – you will be amazed by its architecture. The area also features several galleries. República is a great area to explore during daytime, but use caution if visiting alone at night.
