Room was spacious with a little dining area and a fringe. Furniture and decoration were antiques that you can only see in movies. Coffee is always ready in reception area. Breakfast was good too but they refused to give us packed breakfast when we needed...More
This hotel has an awesome location with lots of restaurants, shops, and a large park with kids' playground nearby! There is cheap Yakisoba sold by street vendors in the park.
I was even able to get a haircut and shave right opposite the hotel. There...More
The hotel suited us fine as we were only there for one night and it was very close to the bus stop (the shuttle to the airport). The rooms were adequate, as was the breakfast - don't expect anything great!

This is a nice hotel located in what was once a very dodgy and dangerous part of the city but nowadays after a lot of work by the police it is relatively safer but don't let your guard down especially at night as dodgy characters...More

Part of the historical center of São Paulo, República was once a fancy residential area. República Square holds a craft and food fair every weekend, right by the subway entrance. Nearby, one of the neighborhood’s main attractions is the Italian Building, where you can see the city from the 42nd floor. The Copan Building also deserves a close look, with 1,160 apartments and a huge floor area that inspired
filmmakers and other artists. To get the feeling of São Paulo in the beginning of the 1900s, visit the Municipal Theatre – you will be amazed by its architecture. The area also features several galleries. República is a great area to explore during daytime, but use caution if visiting alone at night.
