Lets start by the positive things. In terms of room comfort, location, facilities and support from the personal, the hotel is quite good in relation to the price. It is a 3 star hotel and period, nothing much to talk about it. However, the wireless internet is almost non existing. I changed my room because it was smelling cigarettes but...

Hotel facilities plus apartment-level room space / functions (and even more), WONDERFUL!!! This room is well functioned by living room, bedroom, small kitchen, and bathroom. Modest, low-profile, yet very comfortable It leaves me strong feeling of my own home, not just hotel room I temporarily stay, I'm quite fond of it. The location is within lane aside by Paulista Av.,...

Ok maybe the five stars bit is over the top but really enjoyed my stay here. Great location near Consolacao Metro station. Loads of good restaurants and bars in the area. The room was really like a small one bedroom apartment with a little kitchen area. The breakfast was good and love the view from the top floor gym. First...

I'm a regular to this hotel. I've recommended it for business travel, large groups, and long stay. The hotel itself is among the best "bang for your buck" hotels in downtown Sao Paulo. Everyone raves about the location, and they are right. Lots of good restaurants are around the corner on Augusta, a bunch of malls are super close by...

This hotel sucks. It's not five stars not here and not anywhere, by any standards. The room is spacious but the furniture is veeeery dated. Small tv and even the shower does not get hot enough. Wi-if is very poor and only one device can be connected per room. So forget using a smartphone and a notebook at the same...

Stayed here for 15 nights in June, during the World Cup. In my reservation it said "Single apartment" and that was exactly what I got. Maybe there are smaller rooms at this hotel at a cheaper price, but the one I received was huge. I actually had: *One living room with a desk, a sofa and a flatscreen TV which...

We stayed at this hotel for one month and have great things to say about the hotel and its staff. The hotel's name is misleading. It is a 4 star hotel, not a 5 star hotel. The price (~300/night for long say) reflects this. With this expectation, you will love the place. The rooms are spacious, huge bathroom with lots...

The only thing 5 star there is the name and it's a very bad joke. Superb location but very poor otherwise. Stayed there a few times and some rooms have such small beds a 6' tall man barely fits in. Carpets were dirty in high passage area and in one trip in particular it was bad enough that I didn't...

PROS: - Great shower. Great pressure and easy to get temperature right. An unusual thing for a hotel. - Nice to have a separate lounge room. - Large rooms, and although they are not flash they are perfectly comfortable with a sofa, tv in the lounge and bedroom, and a big bathroom. CONS: - Front desk staff hand you key...

This hotel is directly across from the back entrance to Shopping Center 3, one street behind Av Paulista. So, Starbucks and a large food court are right next door. As for the hotel, the staff is nice for the most part, and they greeted me each morning/evening in English as I walked through the tiny lobby, which was comforting. The...

Staying in Consolacao

Neighborhood Profile
Consolacao
Consolação lies between the old historical center of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighborhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
