Neighborhood
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.

Dirty room, including mold on the bathroom walls.. They take your credit card to secure your expenses and call you room for you to pay the bill ahead of your checkout. Breakfast does not go directly to your expense and the waiter is rude as hell. Had to call twice to clean the room, for them clean the room is just make your bed and pick up the trash, never enough towels. Had to call the customer service to complaint and request for them to stop the harassment.

This was my second visit to this hotel. I stayed in a room in the executive floor. The room is basically the same as in the other floors, but you get the Nespresso machine, which I didn't use, so I'm not sure if it is worth paying the small extra for it. The hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, location is good and the price is unbeatable. I had some minor problems, which I hope they will fix before my next visit. I will definitely stay in this hotel again, despite the problems.

+1
My feeling about the Mercure Pamplona was very mixed. What I liked with was its easy location in Jardins area, the size of the room (large) and its small terrace. But I didn't like the poor bathroom, and I also found that the hotel was lacking of maintenance : cleaning wasn't neat, and many traces of use and dirt could be find here and there. Also you can hear very much the doors of the rooms next to yours, and even the bip made by the button to call the elevator.

One of the worst services I have ever seen in a hotel reception. They treat you as if they are going you a big favor. Also the hotel has a tiny entrance with no chairs at the reception area to wait for a room to become available. There is a bar counter with a coffee machine, but nobody there to serve In a city like São Paulo and even more in the area of Jardins it should not be allowed to have a hotel without a minimum infra structure. In summary go somewhere else .... plenty of places to choose from and, for sure, with people with better skills and service
