I stayed here for one night before flying to another city. I have stayed here several times in previous years, and was happy to see that the quality and excellent service that is synonymous with Hotel Unique is still there. I have gotten to know the staff over the years so it always feels special, but I know that they make all their guests feel this way. Check In/out: Seamless. They had my information from the previous stays so no issue here (Thank you Samuel). They still have the glass(es) of champagne upon check in :-) Room: Great rooms as usual. The turndown service is suspended because of COVID, but still a cozy experience. The shades block all light at nighttime so you can be assured of a good night's rest. Restaurant: Amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hotel guests can eat at the pool and it was a relaxing and private experience. Other: -Anyone who stays here MUST go to the pool at least once. It is a fun time, and there is music underwater. -The gym is great: free weights, machines, and treadmills. -Wifi is FAST. Even in the lobby. Again, a great stay. Congrats Wellington on running a great Team and operation, and looking forward to staying again the next time I am in SP!…
Our stay was great! Hotel architecture is still very interesting! Room (deluxe on 7th floor) was not very large, but very nice, with great amenities and beautiful view. Be aware that not all rooms have views... Very limited closet space, thought. Bathroom was very good and spacious! Great “Acqua di Parma” toiletries. Service was excellent. As well as food and beverage options, even assuming pandemic restrictions. Very nice restaurant hostess and pool+restaurant staff! The only important negative review is related to allowed “day use” for non guests. This is in our opinion disrespectful with hotel guests. The hotel management also may consider improving pool maintenance, including a new stair as it is kind of hard to get out of the water, as pool is deep. And, elevators are way too dark... Great stay!!!…
This hotel is indeed unique and iconic among other hotels. The ambience either in the lobby or in the room is very exceptional. Front desk staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are very well furnished and comfortable. You should try the roof top bar, it rivals the ones you find in New York. Everyone around you is very friendly. The view of Sao Paulo skyline is amazing specially at night.
A dared hotel design, wonderful swimming pool at the roof top and a Wall Bar just astonishing, either for business or chill out after a long days is a hot spot to be visited in Sao Paulo. Breakfast has been improved and now you have a buffet with a wide variety of fruits, pastry, healthy options with green juice, agua de coco, almond milk and tapiocas on demand!. Fatima is an excellent hostess, with an impressive smile and overall service is optimum!.
The iconic São Paulo hotel is good though its greatest asset is its rooftop bar and swimming pool. The elevators are very dark for some unknown reason. The rooms are nicely furnished though a bit outdated; say they would look awesome some 10-15 years ago. Very weak aircon in the room. Breakfast is ok but nothing to write home about. Overall nice experience but I’d rather stay somewhere else next time I’m in Sao Paulo.
