Very bad experience. Room very dirty. Bathroom terrible, lots of hairs from other guests, shower dirty as well. Needed to use my flip-flops to shower. A/C is terrible. Extremely loud. Who can someone sleep in such a condition? Please save your money and go somewhere else.
The only positive point about this hotel is it’s proximity to the Morumbi Shopping Center (across the street). The apartments needs urgent renovation: air conditioning is too noisy and some basic details such as not being able to keep the toilet lid up while urinating have pissed me off. Using the elevators in the morning is impossible- there was one elevator (out of 3) out of order. Stay away from this hotel!
The hotel is located in a safe place and close to the Morubi Shoping Center. The rooms are spacious and well clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They kindly gave us a free room upgrade. It has an excellent quality-cost ratio. I recommend it!
This review is a bit different because we stayed in a private owned room booked via airbnb and not in the regular hotels rooms. Nevertheless, our rental allowed access to all services and amenities except breakfast and room service. In practice, the whole experience felt exactly like a hotel stay. So the general impression of the Blue Tree is that it is a high scale, 4-star hotel that provides all the levels of service of its class, but compete by providing better rates. As a result, we felt that the experience is not quite of a Hilton but is acceptable. We had no problems with check in or service. Check in actually took a bit longer because of the lines - computer network was slow that day - but was fine. As I mentioned, we had all the services in our rental. Our rooms were cleaned daily, no issues on that. We also called the front desk to fix our room safe, and they came promptly, also no issues here. We had a car for a couple of days, and used the valet parking, which was fine, although once I had to go down with the attendant to the garage to identify the car. Just little things, none of them big deals. There is also a pool and a gym on the upper floor. Quite nice, frequently cleaned and well maintained. The best thing of the hotel is its location. It is right in front of the Morumbi Shopping Center (and also to the Sao Paulo Market Place), literally. Breakfast was not included, so it was very convenient to have the whole mall that close to the hotel. Speaking of breakfast, about a couple of meters from the hotel is a "padaria" (a bakery) where you have a sit down and have breakfast with a lot of Brazilian favorites (you should definitely do that, have breakfast in a padaria). The location is not central, it is in the Southern part of Sao Paulo, but you have easier access (via Uber, usually) to some of the more trend and popular areas in the city, especially for restaurants and bars. And there is some trains that connects to the metro, so public transportation is also an option. All in all, we thought that the Blue Tree is a decent hotel that competes with other hotels on its classes with its rates. But for good rates, you may need to research a bit. I think it is worth staying if the price is right. Our stay was in August 2019.…
Receptionist Sr Garcia will make you have the worst botel experience in Sao Paulo! Absurd lack of any interest in giving any reasonable service. Wifi would not properly work, nobidy to asssist or help eith luggage.
I stayed at this hotel almost a week, gave my suit to dry cleaning, they ruined my suit by washing it and then they said it is not their responsibility. Dry Cleaner comp[any refused to reimburse my 700 EUR suit. Hotel Staff is very negative and I will not stay in this hotel anymore.
We usually stay at the Hilton Morumbi but had to defer since it was fully booked. The Blue Tree is much cheaper but also not at all comparable. The entire ambience was more reminding on a low cost motel. Two stars because it was clean.
- Sujo - Café da manhã barato The only advantage of the hotel is the location. The hotel itself is pretty bad. - The room I was first placed in was dirty and there was a poor internet connection as the signal was very weak - Person at check-in was maybe a trainee - The breakfast great if you want to sleep longer and skip it. Pao the queso is hard and not tasty, the coffee is in two big containers and gets refilled from time to time and tastes not good, and the juices are thinned down with water
Stayed one week at the Blue Tree Morumbi due to business. As advantage for it, it is close to Morumbi Shopping and Market place within just max. 5 minutes walking where you can find plenty of restaurants as well as a small supermarket. Room is ok from the size, however the design is as any other business hotel. Due to being located at a busy road, it is suggested to have a room not facing the road. Breakfast is ok, but that's it. Nothing remarkable for the taste buds. Except if you dare to have the coffee offered there. I had at my first day one cup and didn't finished it. The taste is awful. Never had such a bad tasting coffee before...😣 Now to the room service 🤦♂️ Upon entering my room, I realised that there was a stain on the floor, probably from a spilled drink. Interested to see if they clean it, I did not mention it to the room services. And well, the next day it was still there. Here is definitely much room to improve. Now to the shower... If you don't want to stay in the shower with shampoo in your eyes, I suggest to keep the water running and just turn the shower head aside, as the valves are nearly impossible to turn when you have slippery hands due to the shampoo. And beware of the hot water.... 😑 Overall, if you have a limited budget it's ok to stay there, but that's it about. …
I had a layover in São Paulo. So I booked this hotel from online. It’s a bit far, about 45 minutes away. Since my flight wasn’t until the next night I figure I would stay there and try to some of the city during the day. Checking in was very easy. By the way breakfast was included. Asked for 13:30 checkout no problem. The breakfast have Many options to choose from. I also had a late lunch at the restaurant. The service was wonderful and the food was fantastic. The Parsnip soup was the best I ever had. The room was very spacious to my surprise. And the bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.
